IMO, kahit ano pang professional ang ilagay jan, if you are paying your due taxes diligently, di ka dapat apektado jan. Hindi naman nilagay na 'lahat ng doktor' or 'lahat ng _____'.

In my lifetime, halos lahat ng doctor na napupuntahan ko, puro temporary receipt lang ang binibigay, hindi OR at walang TIN. Yung iba irerequest mo pa na bigyan ka ng OR for reimbursements. Bilang lang ang nagbibigay talaga outright, wala ng request request. Ganun din naman yung ibang professionals na nakakatransact ko, nagkataon lang na masmadalas ako sa mga doctor kaya sila example ko. Wala sana magagalit.

60k too exaggerated...salaries of our public teachers nowadays are much decent compared to the previous years...afaik, their salaries now are ranging from 15k - 25k according to my aunt who is working in a public school in the province. but then again, due to deductions and contributions...they can only take home clean money something no more than 18k.

While there are a lot of rich doctors who don't file proper taxes, sobrang unfair yung generalization.

Not all doctors are rich. A whole lot of them are pretty poorly off, considering how much they spent studying.

You have doctors in the barrios, doctors who work in government hospitals, doctors who work for emergency services (like our very own OTEP), and doctors who do charity work.

A lot of those doctors are extremely offended by the ad.

Tutal... maraming OFW na TNT at di nag-re-remit naman, diba? That's a fact. So kung OFW yung nasa ad, di dapat ma-offend yung mga nag-re-remit at legal na umalis, di ba?

Prostitute: libo-libo kita kada gabi. Walang taxes. High-life pa. Immoral pa. Fair naman, diba? Kung di ka naman rich prostitute, at white slave ka lang, di ka dapat ma-offend... tama?

Bumbay! May turban pa! Itong dayuhang walanghiyang nag-e-exploit ng mga pinoy... illegal na 5-6... malaki kita... di naman dapat magalit yung mga legal na Bumbay... wala naman silang ginagawang illegal.

Di naman sila nagpakahirap mag-aral ng lampas dekada para maging doctor... at di naman nagbibigay ng discount sa mga mahihirap (o libreng consultation)... di rin nagbibigay ng free samples ng gamot sa mga pasyente para makamura. Sige... doctors nalang.

Itong gobyerno nating nagbabawal sa media ng mga palabas at sulat na nagpapasimuno ng pagkawalang respekto sa mga authority figures (nasa batas yan, ha)... ang yabang naman mambastos ng isang buong sektor ng lipunan at magpauso ng mga stereotypes na naninira sa mga taong nagbibigay ng serbisyo sa sarili nilang bayan.

Both my parents (died and retired) are public school teachers. My sister is with the accounting dep't of DepEd Division office, hawak niya payroll and benefits computation nang buong city. Ngayon na lang lumaki suweldo nang mga yan. Tama estimate ni zap.FREEDOM. P15K usual starting salary kapag regular na. Master teacher 2 na pinakamataas nasa P30K+ ang take-home, pareho lang sa principal sa maniwala kayo o hindi (kung sagad na step increment ha).

Kurap lang na titser kumikita nang malaki. Yung may lagay na nakukuha, nakikialam sa mga budget/purchasing, mga nakikialam sa rent nang puwesto sa canteen, "projects nang mga bata" etc etc etc.

Kawawa yung mga munisipyo or City hall nagpapasuweldo. Delayed na, min pa halos. Kapag sa mega city ka, maliit pa din starting, suwerte yung sa province. kay mga teacher na baguhan, maganda Cp at may personal laptop kasi kaya yung hulugan.

If you're paying your dues properly why get affected? Hindi naman nga nilahat ng doctors yung ad.

And yes mostly mga doctor na napuntahan ko either walang resibo or meron man hindi talaga official receipt yun binibigay.

Walang standard sa charges and if you asked for a discount regarding your philhealth benefits they just blurt out na its already deducted.

Sa office namin andami complaints against some doctors. Some claiming for dubious/fabricated claims, ghost patients etc. Some don't
give out philhealth deductions yet they reimburse to us members confinements.

Again hindi ko nilalahat ha?.

The answer is at your finger tips...everyone is trying to max out their exemption (list down everyone in the family as allowable dependents) accountants also max out the corporate exemptions etc... so everyone's idea is pay the least amount available provided under the book of taxation. The fact is it's hard to let go a big chunk of earning knowing you ain't gonna get nothing in return worse pocketed by most goverment employee or official.
