Similarly, consumer loans jumped 22.6% on an annual basis, faster than the 20.6% expansion back in September. The BSP attributed this to increase in credit card loans, motor vehicle loans and salary loans.

Inflation has taken its toll, the middle class are not spending as expected because they can feel that the next years to come will worsen. Better save for the long-haul.

The lower class, well, they got what they voted for. Good luck.

inside that article makikita mo sino mga nagsabi nag improve ang quality of life, some or no improvement, and bumaba ang quality

    (compared to a year ago)

    educated -- nag improve

somehow educated -- some or no improvement

least educated -- bumaba ang quality of life

    that makes sense

coz the educated didn't see drop in income during lockdowns (tuloy parin ang sweldo) so they emerged from lockdowns with a lot of savings kaya better quality of life

    Taste of Marcos Golden Age...

Inflation continues to surge in November

The Philippines once again gets the dubious distinction of getting the highest inflation rate in Asia.
It appears the government is clueless on how to manage the spiralling inflation rate now plaguing us.
