i was waiting for someone to point that out
in the graph posted by Monseratto, the currencies of Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia depreciated least coz they all have trade surpluses
Vietnam Balance of Trade - August 2 22 Data - 199 -2 21 Historical
Singapore Balance of Trade - August 2 22 Data - 1964-2 21 Historical
Indonesia Balance of Trade - August 2 22 Data - 196 -2 21 Historical
but Japan and South Korea are export oriented economies they should have trade surpluses right?
why did their currencies depreciate so much more?
coz their trade balance flipped to deficit
Japan Balance of Trade - August 222 Data - 1963-221 Historical - September Forecast
South Korea Balance of Trade - August 222 Data - 1966-221 Historical
unbelievable ba?
the home of toyota and nissan and sony...
the home of samsung and hyundai...
they're running trade deficitsLast edited by uls; October 1st, 2022 at 08:36 AM.
