Both Coronel-Ferrer and Deles should resign IMHO and join the MILF panel instead.

    mejo OT.

I heard an interesting comment from a speaker we had a couple of days ago.
MILF fighters join the group because for them it is a job - monthly salary + some benefits. Give them other jobs and they won;t join the group. Many of them is in the group not for the ideology but for economic reasons.

But then, this is classic chicken-egg dilemma. How would you create jobs in a conflict area? Which should come first? Peace or Socio-economic development?

Kaya nga, akala mo kakampi nila eh. Yung sa video hindi pa ba obvious na may mali sa ginawa nang MILF. Parang balewala pa in sa kanila. They are not worthy of representing the Gov't. Dapat siguro lalaki na ex-military o PNP na may experience sa Mindanao eh. Para hindi naduduwag. :suka:

in that part of the country, sir, if you have a gun and you're part of an armed group, you live longer. the locals are driven more by self-preservation than any thing else. most people there have guns. some, like the Ampatuans, have armory.

Hmm..so all that killing in cold blood, stripping off of uniforms, beheadings, mutilating bodies, etc are just "part of the job"?

They do have a point about not having jobs and such...but to be honest, i'd think twice about hiring people like that

First FVR sign a peace accord with misuari/MNLF, then MILF was a breakaway group, now we are talking peace again with MILF! Another breakaway group which is BIFF. So what's next? Talk peace with BIFF? And then another breakaway group?

If they can't talk among themselves. Then why should we talk with any of them?

when (jaafar) asked about the video clipped by Soho: "yun nakita naman sa video ay kamay and baril lang hindi natin talaga alam kung sino yun bumaril" (not verbatim)

eh alangan naman kapwa SAF niya ang bumaril dun

isa pang nakakainis lagi nilang sinasabi na pag hindi na pasa ang bbl eh babalik sila sa gyera, parang nang bla-black mail lagi sila
