OT lang..... balik tanaw sa impeachment trial:

Senator Jinggoy Estrada's explanation of guilty vote in the Corona impeachment trial

    Excerpt:
"I believe that the framers of the Foreign Currency Deposit Act did not intend to create the opportunity for public officials to conceal their assets or stash away foreign currencies under this law."

    Pogi:

Senator Bong Revilla's explanation of guilty vote in the Corona impeachment trial

    Excerpt:
"As the late President Theodore Roosevelt said, "A nation must be judged in part by the character of its public men, not merely by their abilities, but their ideals and the measure in which they realize these ideals; by their attitude in real life and much more by their attitude in public life, both as regards their conception of their duties toward their country and their conception of their duty, embodied in its government towards its own people."

Sharon Cuneta ready to give away P10 million to prove husband's innocence

Anyone who can prove that ex-Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan pocketed some of his government funds for his own gain may claim P10 million from his wife, Sharon Cuneta.

“Hindi kami magnanakaw!” the actress said in her Twitter account, as she defended her former Senator-husband from Senator Jinggoy Estrada’s tirades in a privilege speech Wednesday.

“If anyone reading this can prove to me that my husband has stolen any amount from his PDAF in his 12 years as senator, I will give you P10 million in cash,” she said.

She would also leave her husband, Cuneta added, highlighting how confident she is that Pangilinan used his Priority Development Assistance Fund legitimately.

Estrada, one of the senators facing plunder charges for the controversial pork barrel scam, named Pangilinan as one of the lawmakers seemingly insulated from the scandal.

Pangilinan—along with Senators Manny Villar, Miriam Defensor-Santiago and Alan Peter Cayetano—also had questionable pork transactions, Estrada said.

Checking the veracity of Estrada’s claims is “not as hard as people think,” Cuneta said, noting that they can go to the organizations who got Pangilinan’s funds.

“Ask the barangay captains… and kung sino-sino pa ang nabigyan,” she said.

She added that whatever wealth they are enjoying now is product of her hard work.

“Hindi dahil himalang yumaman kami nang naging senador ang asawa ko,” Cuneta said.

“Dahan-dahan lang,” she added. “Dapat mag-umpisa nang maglabasan ang totoo ngayon.”

Saying that not all politicians are the same, Cuneta said she and her husband cannot stomach to “feed their children using money that is not their own.”

“Kasi di kami nagnakaw eh! Eh di sana may bahay na rin ako sa New York at Paris! Tsk tsk tsk…” the actress said further.

So far, we have no direct link or evidence yet directly implicating the lawmakers. A direct link between the whistleblowers and the lawmakers agents or chief of staff is as close as we get thus far.

Lacson admit yesterday that the 50M extra after Corona conviction was real. Just recently Guingona also admit receiving the 50M. Si Pia Cayetano, wala daw cya natangap. There seem to be double crossing with the crooks or meron nagsisinugaling or nagmamalinis. What ever they want to call it, it is clear pera ng bayan ang pinaghahatian nila na beyond what they should be getting as defined by law. In short, illegal ang extra 50M kaya dapat sa kanila ay magresign lahat.
