Duterte accepts Misuari's offer of MNLF fighters vs Maute

"I will accept Nur's offer," said Duterte on Saturday, May 27, during a speech in front of soldiers in Jolo, Sulu.

"Nur Misuari sent me a letter. He said, 'My men, take them'...He said, 'Take my fighters in the MNLF," said Duterte.

it's a good military strategy. use enemy forces to bsttle out a bigger enemy who's out to exterminate all. the npa themselves issued a statement na they will not allow innocent people to be executed na lang ng ganun ganun.

in the time that the gov't forces took to regroup, they entrenched themselves within the city. Urban warfare is by far the hardest kind to fight...then there are the civilians caught in all that.
