November 29th, 2015 08:58 AM #42Hmm. Pero gusto ko parin ang original jeep design. E standard lang ang design and naka color coded dipende sa rota...
.
If ako masusunod. I recommend na lahat ng bagong jeep ay dapat naka sunod sa iisang design. Sabihin na nating may 2 or 3 local manufacturer lang akong assign to build the jeep. Pag dating naman sa engine e may 2 engine na pag pipilian pang akyat at pang patag.. bawal mag lagay ng extra design sa labas ng jeep at dapat in good shape. Siguro gaganda ang pinas. Kasi uniform lahat ng jeep.

Yung jeepney iphase-out na. Palitan nang MS na retrofitted. Baba na resale value. Tanggalin lang ECU. :D

Mahal na rin ang pa-asssemble ng jeep. Yun palang Pampanga made na mga jeepneys (yung mga front grills e made from forts, montero etc.) then ang engine e 4BC2, 12 seater is almost P500k pala.
Yung Mitsu FB, no ac, is around P800k ba? Ayun, brand new yan.

There is nothing wrong with the jeepney as it's even a philippine icon and you think phasing out the jeepney is the solution?
The problem is the jeepney driver , you phase out the jeepney and put those jeepney drivers into e-jeepneys, cars , taxis, buses and you have the same problem all over again.Last edited by macsd; November 30th, 2015 at 02:09 PM.

The jeepney does not maintain it's self but rather humans. If the human (driver /owner) does not do it's job right, don't expect the jeepney to correct it self. If humans put a gas fed engine on a jeepney, will it be a smoke belcher ? If the engine is religiously maintained, will it be a smoke belcher ?
