Napaisip ako sa taxpayers. Eh alam mo naman dito sa atin, punta lang sa Recto, meron ka nang ID. Siguro dapat ganito:

Voters should be taxpayers. Present a financial statement and ITR duly audited and certified by a BIR accountant. Tapos yun corresponding TIN eh dapat mag-match doon sa may-ari ng TIN mismo para masala nang mabuti. Dagdag pa natin sa requirements ng isang botante ang pagiging graduate of any 2 year or 4 year course. Diploma at TOR should be presented at dapat certified ito ng school at records should match the applicant.

Tapos lagyan natin ng violations yun mga nagbibigay ng falsified/fake documents para maging botatnte. Violation should be imprisonment of at least 3 years with penalty amounting to at least 6 digit amount. Yun mga accomplice dito, dapat kasuhan din with penalty same with the violator.

Well, it's either you dilute power to smaller players, or a single person monopolizes power. Same reason government powers are separated in different branches. Pick your poison.
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

Siguro lagyan na rin ng age limit ang mga voters. Lets say from 20 to 60 years old only lang ang mga voters. Di dapat pwede yun 18 years old ka na eh pwede ka na maging botante.

She probably does. Malakas pa kasi Lola ko and she still handles her finances. Makati does have good benefits for seniors but we never voted for Binay. What they give the local taxpayers are crumbs compared to their kurakot.

Majority of our population are not intelligent voters and I don't know how can that be fixed. Probably not in my lifetime. Yung candidates sana naman maayos.

If i were prez, i'd dismantle this dysfunctional national govt and return power to the lgu's, probably at the regional level. I'd model it after the ancient Greek city-states, then let it prosper from there. Only the revival of statesmanship at the ground level can undo the disparity, and greed, we are now witnessing.

    Power to the people!
