sa labendera naman, it was proven and meron pa yatang certification from the agency na hinde na nagwork sa Webb yun labendera during that time frame. parang umalis na 2 months prior to that incident yun maid.

huwag umasa sa hustisiya ng pinas...been there done that!

No.
In law and in law enforcement, eyewitness testimony is the weakest form of evidence and must be corroborated by forensic evidence or other eyewitness accounts. Otherwise it merely becomes a game of "he-said, she-said", which is why the reliability and authenticity of the witnesses always has to be called into question.
You can have several people view a crime and all seven will have a different version of the events. Some of them conflicting with other accounts on the most basic levels of who, when and where the crime occurred.
This is not a comment on this case itself, but that's how it is in law. Not having personally seen the purported documents held by ex-Senator Webb and not knowing the other details of the case in-depth, I cannot say whether or not Hubert is innocent or guilty... but I wouldn't be surprised if the trial itself was railroaded for political and publicity reasons.

IIRC, LIM was the NBI director at that time pero sa latter part na yata ng term niya.

Last edited by shadow; December 2nd, 2010 at 04:18 PM.
