December 13th, 2019 09:31 AM #43socialized medicine isn't cheap...
to those who don't get sick.
but i agree.
it would be nice if hospitalization is a no-additional-expenses thing.

I just hope all will comply, wala na yung walang supply, walang gamot.
It's a fact in any social health insurance: the bigger the number of those requiring state subsidy, the bigger the amount the contributing sector has to contribute, either directly, through premium, or indirectly, through taxes.
The biggest bleeder in hospital bills are the PFs wala kaso regulation.

ang hirap dyan.. they are asking the small % of contributors to contribute a lot for the healthcare of all..

Kung magkano kaya mo contribute then ganito lang ang benefits mo pag higher bracket mas malaki benefits and so on.

December 13th, 2019 12:06 PM #48Sa akin naman, I don't think a contributing member can be considered the same as a non-contributing member. Pwera lang pag retiree/pensioner na of course---> that is, those who contributed to society during their productive years and should be allowed to enjoy the remainder of their days for their hard work.

Pinilit talaga itong universal heathcare
rich countries with small population can get their universal healthcare system right
but we're a poor country with large population (with a large number of people who aren't productive)
it's not like we're earning oil money

Dapat hindi namimigay ang government ng mga free health cards, which have the same benefits as paying members.
Also, sobrang mismanaged ang philhealth. Hindi binabayaran mga hospitals. So saan napupunta mga contributions?Signature
