Mike Arroyo brought to hospital, DOJ chief says

First Gentleman Jose Miguel "Mike" Arroyo was brought to the St. Luke's Medical Center in Taguig City before noon Thursday, a television report said.

GMA News' Flash report quoted Justice Secretary Alberto Agra as saying that President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo did not show up at the scheduled 22nd annual convention of the Prosecutors' League of the Philippines at the Manila Hotel at 10 a.m. to attend to her husband.

The report said President Arroyo was among those who accompanied her husband to the hospital.


As of posting time, Malacañang has yet to issue any statement on Mr. Arroyo's condition. The television report said presidential son and Pampanga Rep. Mikey Arroyo was still still trying to find out his father's condition.
