We heard it from Lani Revilla herself, asked if nag nakaw si Bong.

You nailed it Bro. And it's a cycle.

Maraming Pinoy asa sa pulitiko. Mga pulitiko, they really don't want to empower the public. Pinapaasa nila.

Why do the legislative body need pork barrel?

Baka the other way around pa. At kahit sino maupo, mayaman pa rin sila. Kasi they work hard.

    Filipinos need yo empower themselves.

Oh and don't be fooled. Di nila sagot yun. Di galing sa sariling bulsa nila yun. Pera rin natin yun.

Correct ka dyan Bro, Things is we may be in the minority on this, we are drowned out those who are dependent on this politicians and the feeling entitled na umaasa dun sa mga politico.

Re: pork barrel, in its truest form sana its a great tool for development as when your the representative youll be in a unique position to know the needs of your constituents lalo na sa infrastructure. Kaso nga lang its 99.9% prone to abuse talaga. Kasama na rin dyan maybe they say culture ng pinoy na kunwari na nalo ka sa bidding eh kahit di humingi si congressman out of being greatfull e bigyan mo ng "pang kape" or pampa luwag to get his nod on other projects. Dito cycle na naman, si congressman na sanay na until his greed is beyond control.

Sone politicians justify this kick backs daw kasi binibigay din naman nila sa constituents nila etc etc, no matter though how you look at it its still corruption. Others might be benevolent and principled at first but eventually kakainin din ng sistema, except of course i hope that there is still some out there who resist.

Im not saying im not susceptible on this if i was a politician, maybe i too will be joining the dark side, but i refuse to believe na embedded na to sa atin as pinoys, maybe sa tao lang talaga.

What is wrong is perpetuating this culture of corruption. For the sake of winning. Politicians should educate the people, not condone their wrongdoings. If we cannot go against the flow, then we are a society doomed forever. That is taking the high road. It will be difficult but not impossible.
