August 31st, 2018 09:08 AM #15763Right you are sir. Senator Joker Arroyo who famously insulted PNoy's government management and said --
"Alam mo kasi sa Malacañang, ang pagtakbo ng gobyerno ay parang student government. Nag-aral tayo ng college, ng high school. Iyan ang pagtakbo (ng gobyerno). Parang student government ang government of the Philippines"
must be thinking the same thing, or even worse, about this septuagenarian's sorry excuse of a government. And to think our president is a traditional politician who's been in the government service for far too long with very very little to show in terms of accomplishments.

August 31st, 2018 09:16 AM #15765The poor get instant death on the war on drugs. How about the big fish?
"A strange, unfamiliar sound emanated from Malacañang last week. Asked about alleged drug lord Peter Lim, who had suddenly gone missing after a warrant of arrest was issued against him, the normally sharp-tongued presidential spokesperson Harry Roque was heard making a virtual plea: “We’re asking Peter Lim, please surrender. If you are innocent, prove your innocence in court. You will be given your day in court.”

August 31st, 2018 09:17 AM #15766rice shortages will keep recurring, if we refuse to give our farmers a better deal.
if we treat them well, i wouldn't be surprised if every other farmer's child will want to be (and not cursed to remain) a rice farmer.
heck, they might even want to buy back their rice fields from the subdivision owners.

August 31st, 2018 09:19 AM #15767afaik nagdrop yung ofw remittances last July. Hope it doesn't become a trend. i fervently believs that OFW remittances and BPOs are the only two things keeping us afloat...now they are messing with those two.
Ingat ingat sila...hopefully we will not become Venezuela...but if SHTF, people will drag them out of their mansions and hang them in the streets. Mababait ang Pinoy but desperate people are dangerous people.

August 31st, 2018 09:25 AM #15770technically POGOs sila sir...the problem is that POGOs aren't considered stable. Konting kipot lang ng China to curb gambling, and those outfits will close shop, never mind what lease contracts they've signed.
And Chinese POGOs hire Chinese...it will probably take years of watching Miao Mi before Pinoys can take POGO jobs . Napapa isip nga ako that those POGO workers are the new middle class. Sure we can argue there is trickle-down economics, but it's not as significant vs. true BPOs that hire Pinoys, who will spend most of their salary here.
As expected, in response to Tesla’s entry into the Philippines market, Ford will be bringing in the...
