err... no.
capital is the main driver of economy. capitalism. duh.
the state merely coerces you to hand over a portion of your wealth so they can waste the resource with their unquestionable wisdom
in essence, "stability" and "order" are no different from protection fee
but I do understand that most people don't want to be responsible for themselves and be rather be told by an unqualified bureaucrat of what to do with their lives
e.g.
Gee, I sure do need peace and order for me to exchange my palay for money.
Gee, I sure do need me some police to conduct business with the majority of people.
Gee, I sure am glad that I have to pay a hefty amount of tax including all that e-vat nonsense while I give 20% discount on top of vat exemption to some old dude! Look at that balance sheet!
Gee, I need to get me some NBI clearance first because I don't trust myself enough if I'm a criminal.
Gee, I sure am glad that "insider" trading is banned. After all, knowing whether an investment is good or not is immoral and irresponsible way of allocating resources. I'm glad that it's casino style hit or miss!Last edited by safeorigin; June 13th, 2016 at 03:18 AM.
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

you've described government as a necessary evil
and that evil's power feeds from the consent of its victim
all it takes is the willingness of people to say yes
(because it's 2016)
in theory the constitution is the restraint
but because it's 2016 and hipsters beat their chests for progress
principles must change too!
to heck with the old interpretations!
to heck with centuries of empiricism, absolutes and standards!
let's make laws as arcane as possible coz we know what's good for you
HAHAHADamn, son! Where'd you find this?

July 22nd, 2018 02:59 PM #30Dapat if an organization (like a church) is into investment, it should be taxed. Ang reason ata why the church isn't taxed is because they are not and should not be engaged in profit making. No profit, no tax.
Pero ang mga clergy are and should be taxed ang income nila.
