Instead, dapat hindi pinapaboto tong mga mahihirap na 'to kasi sila ang dahilan kaya may mga corrupt.

For corruption to end, we limit voter rights.

Pinanindigan mo talagang first step to stop corruption is to suppress the voting rights of a certain demographic no? Hindi mo talaga narealize how elitist and undemocratic that sounds? Democratic government tayo taumbayan ang soberenyo tapos yung gusto mong iexclude yung huge chunk ng society. Tapos accepted na yung corrupt official kasi hindi na yan mawawala. This is the first step?

Hindi tayo surprised na may corruption ang pinag uusapan natin accept or reject it and who we are putting the burden to.

Despite the rampant vote buying, may nakukulong at napaparusahan ba diyan? I mean the corrupt vote buyer. Maybe start there.

Last ko na 'to paulit ulit na lang naman.

because you were express a vibe that is totally different from the point i was trying to make.
bakit paulit ulit na lang yang democratic right. diba i did say nga it was not ideal.
pinaikot ikot lang yung sagot. pabalik balik.
hindi talaga tayo makapagintindihan sa mga sinasabi natin.
    different wave length yung thinking.

There are those vote buyer that are caught sent to jail and release after. If you are caught by the opposition most likely bugbug ka.

Sagutin niyo na lang how to pay the billions spent on The presidential elections without graft and corruption?

I asked you if the vibe I'm getting is what you meant and you confirmed it, tapos ngayon it is different from the point you're trying to make?

Wala naman surprised sa corruption alam naman natin lahat yan ang difference ng opinion dito, do we reject it or accept it as normal.

O sige na let's agree to disagree. Kayo okay na magnanakaw ang mga government officials some of us hindi.

people who have big material/financial dreams

    people who are materially/financially ambitious

shouldn't go into public service -- they should stay in the private sector

naka focus mga tao dito sa pharmally-type, friend-of-president type of corruption

ang tinutukoy ko corruption is the type present all throughout gov't bureaucracy

like ung example ko fire inspector who insists you refill your fire extinguishers sa kakilala niya

like the customs guy who will let your container van out for an under-the-table fee that's much lower than the actual tax you're supposed to pay

like the building permit guys who will let you build a tall building in the middle of a residential area (hello kagalingan walang zoning zoning sa pinas)

    there are countless examples

siguro naman gets niyo sinasabi ko

call me a cynic but i think that type of corruption will not go away kahit anong palit mo ng presidente

Oo nga kaya nga sabi ko read my post again. I didn't say it was doable or it could be done or if its morally right. like i said again read my post on it. But like i said again in the subsequent post. if it would done do you not think it would reduce the incidence of vote buying? yes or No?

    oo nga. Agree to disagree.

Only the corrupt gov't officials want the corruption to stay.
Everyone else wants a corrupt free gov't but the reality is corruption will still be present whoever sits in Iron throne/Malacanang in the next 6 years. We are trying to show you is the reality of what is out there.

as long as there are regulations that stand in the way of goals & dreams of aggressive people (in the private sector) there will always be corruption

coz they will find ways around regulations (like bribe gov't officials or work to replace them with friendlier people)

regulations are there to limit the actions of such people

imagine a world where there are no rules -- the most aggressive people will enslave the rest of society

democratic government was created to reign in the most aggressive, allowing the timid/meek to live unoppressed

    laws are made for lawbreakers

naalala ko ung discussion dito sa forum tungkol sa 2008 global financial crisis

on one side the advocates of free market capitalism (i think that was me and another guy)

but it's the lack of regulations or lax enforcement that lead to the crisis kaya sabi Ry Tower that's why there's need for regulation (nandyan ka ba Ry? naalala mu?)
