how to increase power of 4d56?

kabit ka lang washers, u don't need a boost gauge na unless u want to install a manual boost controller then ul need a boost gauge, ako kinabit ko 4 na washer n u will feel the difference. but don't expect a lot ha. the diesel consumption is not noticeable.

"4 washers " -as in 4 washers each side? Any washer ba? Baka kasi iba kapal or baka malagay ko madali kalawangin, hehe..

yung samin mga 2500 rpm bago mg boost ng 5psi gs2 ko ko itaas boost and add blow off valve khit diesel it rocks hahaha

*carnovice: walang problema kahit kalawangin yan. any washer that will fit will do. basta 4d56 max pressure is 12psi. some people say they even reach 30 psi. but manuals clearly says 0.83 bar/3000rpm





kung 30 psi ang mitsu, talo pa ata nila ang newest BMW diesels na 27psi lang... Ford Focus Diesel nga, 14 psi max lang...

installing the boost guage is the easiest part. you will just hook a extension 'T' in the boost hose line.

sir rion ok po ba kpag nag 15psi kasi po misan napapaabot ko dun eh..kapag long driving ok lang ba ito pero i do oil change every 3 months

but in my opinion, hindi siguro ganun ka grabeng masama sa 4d56, kasi maraming nag sabi sa Pajero uk forum na umaabot 15 psi sila... baka matibay nga 4d56...

but don't take my word for it. kasi as for our Pajero 4d56, 12 psi lang ang max na bigay ko. mahirap na kung magkamali...

sir nalinis niyo na po ba yung intercooler niyo kasi gusto ko pong linisinbaka po madumi na yun kasi 7 yrs na walang linis yun and gusto ko po sana gawin yung washer mod... ano po ba ang mangyayari dun sinabi na din po nung uncle ko sa akin yun eh lagyan daw ng flat washer para lumakas daw yung boost.At ok po ba maglagay ng blow off valve,,pinaplano po kasi namin yun kaya lang walang space,,,And kailangan po ba talaga ang BLOW OFF VALVE gusto ko lng po dito yung tunog pssttt.....tutunog din po kaya sa diesel engine na ganun heheheh para san po ba ito????

yep, nalinis ko po recently. didn't feel any difference though... saan po ilagay ang flat washer? aside between the wastegate and turbo?

hindi pa po ako nakalagay ng blow off valve. sorry. but I'm intested though, do you know where can we buy them and how much?

but I hear Turbos has a silencer ring. lalakas yung tunog kung tangalin mo. but I haven't checked our 4d56t though.

you got me confused there...

but wait... I thought your 4d56 gets 15psi already? so you haven't washer mod it yet?
is your ride adventure with a pajero engine? or a adventure fitted with turbo? baka may problema wastegate mo.

I'm still interested in bov. it's a Rice I'm interested to make... it could be useful too, I'm actually getting boost spikes readings after the washer mods.

I driven once a vehicle with a loud turbo kasi eh... I just love it when it shuts the engine off... parang eroplano shutting down engine sound...
