I wouldn't "do tires" any other way than with my own gear.
Most producers of products are good to great at what they specialize in:
Car makers: Cars, SUVs, light trucks.
Tire accessory makers: Gauges, pumps, tread-depth readers etc.
I would rely on a dashboard tire pressure readout strictly as a backup resource, but rely first on a good gauge to get tire pressures where they need to be.

i'm maintaining pressures for 2 cars and 3 bikes. easiest way is to use this foot pump w/ digital gauge. just go to each wheel and use leg powerno need to fool around w/ wires and such
i used to do it w/ a foot pump plus a separate gauge coz i was using a pump w/ an inaccurate gauge. the integrated and accurate gauge on this michelin is a big help. highly recommended
