jan, di nga maganda pagkakadrain nun. i would really suggest you bring it kila chieffy (ronald) para sure.
ronald, ganyang ganyan din ako. full synth pero pagdating ng mga 6800 kms, nararamdaman ko na di na maganda takbo ng makina, that is why i decided to go back on semi-synth para 5000 kms ulit ang interval.

hytan, try mo havoline. tapos determine the difference between what you are using now and energy.
imho, kanya-kanyang timplada yan. shell's also good, but i had better experiences with havo energy. next change oil ko, i- try ko naman ultron.

October 3rd, 2003 07:49 AM #19Full synth mobil 1 changed every 5-6k km or 6 mons. Also do 1yr interval with mobil 1 on a car that only runs 2-3k km/yr.
Just a comment on semi-synth: the protection afforded by full synth is from the synth base oil but a semi synth uses a mineral base oil with synth additives. Think you get the same protection from an ordinary mineral oil with high API rating if you change every 5k km.
The oil filter quality has a huge effect on whether the oil gets cleaned or not, so don't use cheap(generic) gas station filter brands. Stick to OEM or orig Vic and use the right size or part no. Your oil will protect if the filter works as designed.
