WD40 will dry up immediately and rust will set back in.
If you are nearby - I can share some NewOil with you... I apply this to metal to eliminate friction... but I also apply this to electrical contacts to enhance connections... to my surprise, It can also be used for rubber or friction surfaces where it's needed... for example - fanbelts and even clutch linings.
If you like your clutch to behave like a racing clutch - use this. Mas maganda maglaro yung bearings and panigurado... walang sliding yung clutch pads mo. I use this in my racing VW bug. Dont use it for brakes... masyadong makapit ito, it will be hard to control your car... I used it with brakes on my mini cooper... umusok yung linings - hindi pala pwede for this area... gusto laging kumakapit. - Wierd but it works!
For those who have problems with ECU... this might help.
Pinoy Mega Squirt VEMS-1 (Vehicle Management System).. It can replace your ECU, mas fully controllable pa yung system for your vehicle. Presyong Pinoy pa. the blogsite is in my signature line.

kung malubog sa baha ung auto ko, covered pa ba yun ng warranty?

It wont be if it happened last September.... but if that happened in another date where there is no apparent disaster... then it becomes just a normal accident.
Technically, naaksidenteng napadaan sa baha... so that makes it covered by your comprehensive insurance.
But flood is a tough item to contend with if used as an excuse with insurance companies.
Making a really good police report like, the vehicle - landed in a fish pond while it was swerving to avoid a drunk tricycle driver... There has to be an accident of some kind.
