    thanks in advance

My car is mitsubishi adventure model 2005. Originally, immediately after starting, warning lights appear on the dashboard including a yellow one that disappears after about two seconds. Now, after the car was submerged in floods and after I had it repaired by somebody, the car starts but gets off as soon as the yellow light disappears. Explanation was given by the repair man that the "menor" is high. Please give me your opinion on this matter. What could be the reason why it gets off along with the yellow light?

Mga sirs, meron po ba rito na naka contact na sa wheelers? i've been trying for 2 days, walang sumasagot sa mga phones nila. tuloy pa kaya ang service nila o binaha din sila?

    Thanks.

Even if they're still operating, they're probably swamped (literally) with calls. Try other, smaller services, instead. Go through the phonebook and try every one.

As for all the ECU questions, you can attempt to clean them with contact cleaner. Check for any loose connections on the circuit board... if you left your battery connected when the car was flooded, you may have a capacitor or two that's busted. If you do. Tough luck... you'll have to find an electrician who can replace it.

Be warned... if you are still under warranty, touching the box will void it. If you have AOG coverage... don't even bother... let the insurance company deal with it.

Honda Civic FD: ask around on the Honda Club Philippines forums. Or you can call Speedlab (speedlab.com.ph)... they do piggyback ECU installs, so they'll know where it is.

Advie... not a clue... do you mean to say it dies after starting? Please be clearer about this.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Yes after starting the car the engine goes off. I am not sure if it's related to the yellow light on the dashboard that also goes off when the engine starts running. Normally, this yellow light would go off after starting but now as soon as this light goes off, so does the engine also. does anyone have any idea about this? pls. advise..tnx

Diesel or gas? What does the yellow light look like? Is it spring-shaped or engine-shaped?

Maybe you forgot to drain the fuel and water seperator fuel filter, the yellow light will lit if there is water. and may me you should replace the fuel filter just to be safe.
