Question lang dun sa mga nagpapalit na ng windshield, pano nga pala yung LTO stickers nyo? Na-salvage nyo ba o nag-request na lang kayo ng bago sa LTO, o okay lang na wala nang LTO sticker?

Usually you can have the stickers (LTO, village stickers, city passes, etc) peeled off the broken windshield and either re-apply it or have it laminated and taped to the new windshield.

Regarding LTO stickers doc, never ko kinabit yung para sa windshield sa isa kong car. 3 years na. Naka-laminate lang siya then nakatago sa glove box. But fortunately, never pa ako naapprehend because of that.

Pero yung sa plates, I really stick them on.

Hi GH, usually you can easily peel (relatively) other stickers like subdivision, school, etc., either by careful peeling or applying heat to it, apply acetone or strong solvent to it to soften the gum.

But the recently-issued LTO sticker, I noted that they are peel-proof, meaning, they will separate when peeled off (very similar to the price tags of most department stores) to prevent them to be transferred to another vehicle once they are in place already. You can easily destroy the sticker attempting to peel it off, hence my question. Will LTO issue another sticker if ever you bungled transferring the sticker?

If in doubt, apply a pre-cut clear sticker sheet (available at your school/office supply stores) on the LTO sticker and carefully use a heat gun (on the glass side) to soften the gum/adhesive before peeling it off the broken glass.

As for re-issuing a sticker... I have had the need for a sticker to be re-issued. And given I have driven for the last couple of years without sticking the windhsield LTO sticker, I doubt if it would be noticed. Just make sure the stickers on the plates are there.

Hello renz. That's a nice idea, pero di ba yan violation ng LTO rules/guidelines?

AFAIK, basta nakadikit ung sticker sa license plate front and back okay na un. Ung sa LTO sticker kahit hindi na nakadikit sa windshield. basta nasa loob ng sasakyan.
