August 27th, 2006 03:24 PM #33btw, although wala akong problema dyan curious lang ako...ano bang standard ang emission sinusunod ng pinas? meron ba tayong sariling pagaaral dyan?
ano ang mga batayan ng LTO...europe has it own standard...states in the US have their own...california being i guess the toughest.

August 27th, 2006 10:46 PM #34namemeasure lang po is:
For gasoline engines (spark ignition engines):
Carbon Monoxide (CO) percentage and HydroCarbon (HC) content...
1st registration of vehicle: (maximum readings)
< Jan 1997 = 4.5% CO; 800ppm HC
>= Jan 1997 < Jan 2003 = 3.5% CO; 600ppm HC
For Diesel Engines (compression ignition engines):
Opacimeter result limit (max) 2.5K
Sana namemesure din pati NOx, which is as actually as harmfull as CO and HC....
