April 20th, 2008 11:24 PM #11It is actually illegal to import used vehicles but not impossible. Assuming you have the right connections you will end up spending the same as importing a brand new car of the same bracket.
Dapat alam nyo rules and regulations regarding importation at wag basta magagalit sa mga taga customs dahil sa kanila din naman dadaan ang mga tsikot natin.Last edited by Si 06; April 20th, 2008 at 11:27 PM.

Yep it's cheap alright coz there are a lot of after costs to like taxes, dues, shipping , etc. and another problem is your LHD conversion. Sayang, imagine you bought a powerful 2nd hand GT-R then you're going to have the conversion done by the same people doing conversions for surplus pajeros here, and test drive it to the skyway to do a Topsecret like (a Japanese supertuner shop) topspeed test... uhhh not a good idea.
Unless you'll have it done by the Japanese guy that works from creative speed (he's an ex nismo japan mechanic).

February 3rd, 2010 05:21 AM #18customs will tell you that importing cars will kill the local car dealers. the enormous tax is there to discourage that (importation)
yet corruption from the government kills, literally, the whole country.
yes it's true, but because it's a statement coming from the government, it's not believeable.
you can't trust someone/something that contradicts himsleft/herslef/itself.
source: company that imports cars

Is tradecarview.com for real? http://www.tradecarview.com/
Very cheap kasi prices nila, but adding freight charges and customs tax, is it advisable?...safe?
