Wasn't the Tesla Model Y the best selling car in the world for 2023? Tesla Model Y secures position as world’s best-selling car in 223 - JATO

If the RAV4 and CRV are still strong I guess it took more sales from the other CUVs like the Escape/CX5 etc.

If you use the China Price

A Model 3 is 231,900 cny or P1.88m for the base model (220k markup)

Hard to figure out which variant of the Seal is being sold but it is at least RMB 202,800 (1.65m) and up to RMB 249,800 (P2.03m) for the 82.5kwh model. (520-900k markup)

AC's margins are lot bigger than whoever is bringing in Tesla. I wonder if they will respond by bringing in a lower end model or slashing prices. On the other hand I dont think the price will stay at 2.1m for long

Ive ridden a Model 3 a couple of times as an Uber and it rides well but the interior is incredibly bland compared to a BMW or Lexus. However its much cheaper than any of those now.

True. No need to visit the showroom.
Everything can be done at the comfort of your own home.
Pay the reservation fee via Credit Card.
    Wait for your email.
Download the Tesla App and link the email.
Wait for your VIN number and Delivery date.

All this without stepping into the showroom and talking to any SA.
    An Introverts Dream. hahaha

BYD Ph is selling to TOTL Premium AWD model here. its meant to compete with the Model 3 Performance. so the Seal is around 500k cheaper.
Not sure if they will release the other variants of the BYD Seal. The BYD Seal model variants usually undercuts its equivalent Model 3 variant.
Their next release looks like the BYD King, a PHEV sedan.
