hi,

anyone out there na meron power steering pump and steering rack ng 2000 opel astra ? too expensive sa casa 96,000k and sa thunder 82,000k/ kahit 2nd hand ? thanks !!!

Try to go to Fronte in banawe. (Check the yellow pages) They usually have replacement parts na hindi Original GM. They sometimes get from Daewoos since GM din ito and it shares some components with the Astra. Basta may pag-gagayahan ng pyesa, puede na kahit di pareho ang part number. Most parts are the same, iba lang minsan ang mga brackets etc.. that can be altered if really needed.

Ask fronte for their mechanic. Baka kayang gawan ng paraan yan. Kung Casa ka kasi nagpunta, normally, palit lahat yan kahit maliit lang ang problema.

I had a similar problem before in my other German car, sinisingil ako ng P250,000 sa steering rack since may leak. Palitan daw lahat since sealed system daw ito and walang mabibili na OEM part. Nagawa ko yung steering problem by just buying a P50 oil seal sa Masangkay and P500 labor sa mekaniko.

Pag magaling ang mekaniko, lahat kayang gawin and di ka lolokohin.

I had my astra fixed there, the mechanicals guy is boy masangcay, he looks like pecto of wow mali, magaling naman gumawa. for electricals its another guy named boy also. my experience there was with my abs, had to change the hub assembly with the sensor, casa was charging me P24k for it, i went to fronte, SKF brand, P9k lang plus P700 labor. My rear power window broke also, again the casa was charging me around P24k also, had Boy the electrician at Fronte repair it, P2k lang.

Tama si edl100, baka magawan ng paraan yan.

no problem, thought you might be the same person because someone else had exactly the same problem that you are experiencing, same price quotations also, was a friend of a member of the miata club.

can i ask the mileage of your car and how this problem manifested itself? does this mean you can't drive your astra now? would you mind posting the result of your fronte trip if you go?

old school opel manta 1980. kaso ngayon, di pa tapos ang repair. nagpachange color pa ako e tsaka palit ng orig stainless bumpers.

dati kasi fiberglass bumper pa sya.

caloystermx5 tamang tama i need my hub assemblies replaced. medyo maingay na kasi mukhang worn out na bearings. i tried thunder pero ayaw nila mag reco ng mechanic. sa casa na lang daw ako magpagawa after buying parts from them.

How long did the job take? saan banda ba ang fronte? Dami ba tao nagpapagawa? will be coming kasi from sta rosa so i have to plan trips to QC.

manager it is on Kabignayan st. corner banawe, kung galing ka ng e. rodriguez kakanan ka sa banawe siguro mga 2 or 3 corners after yun na yung kalye nila. Since malayo panggagalingan mo i suggest you call first, 712-0864, 7120919, 7311788 to check kung available yung piyesa. Kailangan maaga ka dumating, limited lang kasi car slots sa harap ng tindahan nila.
