January 27th, 2015 07:17 PM #2111in the first place, do you have battery troubles now? if you do, then change it now.
batteries usually do not die until after the warranty expires. what is your warranty, and how many months before it expires? in my opinion, that is your remaining "expected battery life".
batteries charge better on long drives. i don't see why you were given that advice against driving to the province.. baka dahil walang distributor sila doon? heh heh.

January 27th, 2015 07:32 PM #2113Most probably Dr. D hehehehe.

January 28th, 2015 01:34 AM #2115that would depend on you.
do you like to play "chicken"?
we used to, back when we were younger and poorer, and our car was MT and could be push-started. and we kept using that half-dying battery for at least one or two months more, before we got enough money to buy an "assembled" battery.. (they were cheaper than the regular ones..)
now, i drive around with a pair of jumper cables in the trunk of my AT, and i have a battery charger at home.
but in my over 20 years of driving, only once did a battery quit on me before the warranty lapsed.
i have a colleague.. she would replace her battery immediately after the warranty lapses, no matter what.. ayaw niyang m-tirikan..

I normally wait until the battery dies. If it happens at home, I call Motolite. If it happens outside, I push start so I could get home, then I call Motolite
