Yess.. that in the pic is the exact same components of mann i dissected.. I thought the performance is superior, now its time for me to search for the champion brand. Thanks for the insights.

BTW im tired of bleeding the sedimentator to check for dirt so im planning to replace it with window-clear-type filter like this. Is this a good idea? I just cant verify but im wondering why the priming pump is missing? Or maybe this should fit to the OEM filter head with the priming-pump??

I have only seen them installed in-line before the stock fuel filter. Berrima Diesel carries and install theses. I'm sure I will have one installed on my Elgrand as well considering how dirty the diesel is there. But I do run Fleetguard fuel filters that handle that very well but a secondary can never hurt.

The efficiency numbers for Bosch are 93% on the multipass test and 98% on the single pass test for 20 microns. E. This compares favorably to the Mobil1 filter which is 95% on the multipass test and 98% on the single pass. So they filter as well as Mobil1 filters.

Fleetguards are 99.6 efficient on sinlge pass Baldwin is 99.5. But anything over 98% is good for single pass.

I get the Fleetguard and Donaldson units for a good price, no problem getting them for the Elgrand, Donaldson are equivelent to the fleetguard and a true 3 micron filter which is awsome.

There better than the Delphi by a long shot they just don't have a clear bowl which I really don't care for.

In order for the fuel injection system to have a long life without excessive soot or repairs, the fuel must be filtered to eliminate enything larger than 3 microns. Anything larger will either scratch or wear the internal parts or jam them.

Cheap fuel filters kill injection pumps and clog nozzles.

Saan nga pala kinakabit, secondary or primary filter?? Yung may priming pump is secondary filter, Nissans are known to have 2 fuel filters.

Hi Dvldoc, my elgrand's carpet at the passenger side is always wet due to condensation from the aircon evaporator. the aircon is working fine. any ideas how to solve this problem? also, do you know the part number of the ac filter?

you can go on www.rockauto.com and try the filter for a 2000 nissan pathfinder, it should be very close to the same. But most of the conversions I have seen they remove them and seal the box.

You might be missing the drip tube that the water is supposed to run down and out through the floor board.

Need help guys! yung elgrand ko kapag medyo mabilis ako bigla nalang mag checheck engine tapos kapag nag slow ako pag medyo matraffic prang kumakadyot tapos bigla nalang mamatay yung makina ko. nag aalala ako kapag matraffic o kaya asa highway ako bigla mamatay engine ko matamaan ako tnry pacheck kaso parang ndi parin masolve yung problem e 2 days ng ganito elgrand ko. bago din mag aappear yun na try kuna pascan at ang result TPS
