yun nga ang pangit yun body in the long run. though it looks traditional suv and it may as well age well, pareho lang itsura nya sa mga old CX7 and CX9 of the past, or maybe even the SUA Montero

play the video in Indonesia, imagine mo hinde mo alam yun car tapos nakita mo lang from the side, diba mukang dated sa sea of balck and white PPVs dito sa tin sa traffic

maybe thats why they used the brown color to market it sa launch as in brown lang lagi nasa youtube, coz it looks refresshing on brown. walang brown Fort, Mux, Everest. Montero meron brown pero iisa naman mayari nyan Nissan Mitsubsihi ngaun diba

The first batch of the Japanese carmaker's recently-launched entry into the local midsize SUV arena has arrived, and the units might already be making their way to dealerships as we speak.

Nissan Philippines made the announcement over social media last week, showing off photos of the inaugural Terra units parked at the port, awaiting shipment.

"They have arrived," Nissan's Facebook post reads. "The first batch of the all-new Nissan Terra units are here ready to be shipped to dealerships," it continues.

Test drove one this week. Pretty good car. Ride quality, handling and brakes are tops for a PPV. The generous suspension travel also gives the Terra good manners offroad.

The steering is a lot lighter than the NP300 when it first came out. It still gives a better feel than most EPS.

7 speed auto is smooth but first gear still doesn't feel as strong as the Everest 3.2 or the Chevy Trailblazer.

Pretty good NVH insulation too. The 1st and 2nd row offer generous space but the 3rd row is really best left for smaller kids. Which is a shame coz of that driver accessible button that folds the 2nd row for easy access.

Intelligent rear view mirror allows an unobstructed view of the rear even with tall passengers or cargo. Around view monitor makes parking easy.

The interior does look a bit dated and doesn't do all the available tech justice. But all variants get 6 airbags and with all the other things the Terra offers I guess they had to cut costs somewhere.

Overall, I think a very good effort from Nissan.

    Wow nice review sir.

In your opinion With regards to interior and steering wheel, is it comparabile with eve? Which one is better?

But even eve is better in those areas, the low pms cost is so enticing.

The Terra's interior is mostly lifted from the NP300 and while it isn't bad, it's starting to show its age. The center console is tiny. Almost all surfaces are hard plastics. The Everest's and Fortuner's dashboards are definitely better. So are their steering wheels. I wish they put the 2018 X-trail's Tie Fighter steering wheel in there in lieu of that old bikini wheel. And yes, if you're the type who holds the bottom part of the wheel when doing wide turns you'll probably end up pressing the horn inadvertently.

But the front seats of the Terra are nicely sized, extremely supportive and comfortable. I really like the Zero G material (memory foam). The driver's seat's electronic adjustment allows for cushion tilt which I like. Haven't had much seat time in the 2nd row so I can't compare. As for NVH I can't remember if the Everest or Fort are as quiet but in my short drive, it seems at par with the current CR-V.

I did panic for a second when I glanced at the rear view mirror and didn't see the portly Nissan agent seated in the 2nd row. For a moment I thought baka multo, but then I remembered it was the intelligent rear view mirror at work.
