Sama ulit sa test drive. Enjoyable daw torque ng epower. Mas tahimik ICE niya kaysa sa Yaris Cross HEV. Mas tahimik din sa loob. Leaning towards Kicks, vs. sa Yaris Cross.

Baka magbaon ng spare tire at jack/tools sa provincial drives. Hehe.

OT. Habang nandoon pala kami, may 3 GTR sa showroom na ni prep for release. Wow. Mabenta pa pala iyan kahit 12M.

If naging 0 excise tax, ang laki ng na ipocket nilang profit from the 50% excise tax alone.
Hindi cgro 70k lang ang price decrease if ganun.
Dapat ipasa nila to consumer and they should announce the price cut due to this BEV classification.
Sa mga lawyers and execs lang cgro napunta yung excess 50% excise tax benefit na yan if hindi nila ipasa to consumers.
Else, if the law is amended, baka nga i request kayo ng govt for a refund for exploiting this loophole.

Nissan was one of the few who honestly reduced the price of their EV's once the EO12 was implemented. The Nissan leaf was reduced to below 2M. While other manufacturers didn't even reduce their price or did so by a very small margin only because motoring journalist were already asking questions about it.

Alam ko They can't use the discount as the reduction due to the zero Excise tax. maybe some accountant here can shed light on this.

A neighbor was quoted 5 months waiting period (he was going to pay via bank PO) for the Yaris Cross HEV. Yung Corolla Cross HEV daw may available unit, GR-S nga lang (dealer was even offering a discount on it).

There are posts on FB na NVH isn't good. Di rin daw maganda tunog pagsara ng doors and hood.

This kinda makes the Kicks seem like a better choice now even if the new model is coming in a year.
