Frostenangel, have you tried getting it from Nissan? They offer Leather wrap for the 4x4 Xtrail (new model) for about 15k+, so baka meron din sila for Sylphy.
Ganda ng Turbo Sylphy. Sleeper ang dating. I hope they also do a turbo 1.8.
From the same site, I saw na meron palang Altima 2.0L CVT. I wonder how it fares in the aspect of fuel economy given that the Altima is 1.4 Tons (Sylphy is 1.3 tons I think). Parang gusto ko. hehe. Ganda siguro nito kung 2.0 Turbo or better, turboDiesel.
How are your sylphys so far guys? So far sa akin wala naman issues. It's fast (surprisingly, it can actually race kahit automatic). With RON95 fuel, it consumes 20L in 200kms (pure city, everyday excruciating WTF! traffic). I just wish the clearance LEDs were brighter. Have you upgraded your LEDs? I'm also thinking of upgrading my HID to Osram CBI 5000K para daylight talaga ang dating sa gabi. The OEM (most likely Philips 4300K) are ok pero gusto ko lang ng mas maputi.
Has anyone upgraded their horns? Nakita ko kasi na meron na itong Relay (inside the fusible link box), does it mean plug and play na lang pag nagkabit ng bago?Last edited by Horsepower; November 26th, 2014 at 11:26 AM.

If you're having problems with your dealer, i.e. registration, this is the guy to bug:

Would you believe, the delayed registration is NOT with LTO but with Nissan dealers.Last edited by Horsepower; December 1st, 2014 at 05:41 PM.

December 2nd, 2014 03:36 PM #395Past few weeks all my time with the car has been in bumper to bumper traffic with registered average speed of just 12-13kmh. Really bad pace. Digital readout registering 8.3km/l but the actual full tank method revealed about 7.4km/l only. Most of the fuel is really just wasted on idling these past few weeks whenever I get to drive it out on weekdays.

December 4th, 2014 02:15 PM #396Hi B17 1.6 MT owners!
I'm planing to get the B17 1.6 MT this coming last week of the year, I would just like to ask a few questions, totoo po ba na wlang LED accent yung 1.6 MT? we went to Nissan southwoods but unfortunately hindi ko nacheck yung LED accent nya, so i called the agent and he told me na there's no bulb daw, naka-abang lang sya..
B17 owners would you mind comparing the 3 variants, mga items na wala po ? kasi i'm not really sure kung accurate yung brochure nila, I don't know kung lahat ba nakadeclare dun.
Also possible kaya na i-haggle ko sa kanila na buhayin yung LED accent ?
BTW can you also post the great deal you got from the dealer?
thank you very much mga Boss

December 9th, 2014 01:42 PM #397No LED for the manual sylphy, standard turn knob aircon controls, 1 din stereo and no rear vents. I haven't noticed if there is a fog lamp for the mt variant. If there is a provision for the LED lights, I guess it would be a good bargain if they would include it as an upgrade. If you read this thread, you will encounter that some sylphy owners also had freebies from their dealers like a rear cam.
Update us on your decision. Happy hunting.

December 16th, 2014 07:39 PM #399Just got my plate. Just in time before the LTO officially implements the no plate no travel policy now. Whew!
I asked helped from Nissan NE to install since the front bumper indent can't fit the width as noted in earlier posts. They "shaved" down both sides as quick as they could. So it fits I guess.
Here's my concern though. It's about the third plate sticker. I had medium tint installed for the whole front windshield. That was done way back July. Third plate sticker only recently installed and I had Nissan NE install both plate and sticker. The sticker is placed on the interior side of the windshield. I saw them remove the sticker paper covering the adhesive side and it had a note.
It went along the lines " install third plate sticker on part of windshield below the tint visor" "And do not obstruct visibility".
I tried looking through the windshield from afar and I couldn't see anything. Up close though, the barcode is "somewhat visible". But I wonder if it will be an issue later on since Nissan installed everything, plate stickers and tint? I guess the reader should be able to pass through the tint upclose especially with infrared light and the barcode is also present on the plate so that can be read to show registration is "updated".
How about you guys?
On another note: I've been looking out on the road for other new Nissan models being bought just for curiosity's sake and I noticed that it seems all Nissan vehicles have a VS XXXX conduction sticker on them. At least the new ones I encounter who have no plates yet, starting from sylphy units. So I am just curious if the conduction sticker registration is reservation via block for each distributor/dealer? Because the new xtrail seems to have VS 2XXX or VS 3XXX series if I am not mistaken from what I saw for units to be delivered to their owners.
This is just a curiosity I noticed and not really important.

December 16th, 2014 08:18 PM #400From what I understand, it is not wise to put a sticker where it has to be read thru a tint, because of read-ability issues, either human or machine.. That's common sense. I hope things turn out ok with yours.
