here is my personal meaning for rice/ ricey cars

> chrome items- baduy maraming mga tatay na matanda ang hilig kadiri naman. note: chromes arent rice on vintage classic cars
if installed properly
>led lights na kita yung led, dapat nakahide at least
>mufflers na maingay pero panget ung sound ex: tricycle/motorcycle na feeling mabilis hindi naman.
>4wd sa altis- yun rice kasi feeling subaru siya hahahah pero guys u have to understand baka dream niya talaga
4wd pero cant afford, hayaan niyu na yun.
>transformers logo- baduy nga i have lots of friends may ganyan tahimik lang ako , pero sa chevy camaro nakita

>automatic transmission- rice daw, not true. sa traffic ng edsa madami akong kilala tinatamad na mag mt and fyi
mga lambo and ferrari at n yan halos, hindi mo poydeng tawagin rice ang ferrari kasi baka maging rice car mo nyan

BADUY thread, not rice thread. Besides, "rice" is more attuned towards sporty, rather than the all-encompassing "baduy" Different strokes for different folks. Kung feeling mo baduy ang Euro sa iyo, eh di baduy yun para sa iyo. Free world, diba?

On your note re: chrome, yeah, I agree: chrome only looks good on classic cars. On a proper bling vehicle like an Escalade or something big, boxy and American, pwede pa.

But on a Fortuner, Tucson or a CR-V? Hah!

Kaya nga tawag ko dun sa mga naglalagay ng chrome sa mga family cars dito sa 'pinas, the Philippine Midlife Crisis.

ouch! oy bakit ako lapit na ako mag half-life but i still hate chrome! hehehe. started with my first car, lancer box type, pasalamat na lang nauso black stickers - blacked out every chrome bit
