What's with the cars nowadays?

After reading all the post here, all I can say is... We are certainly entitled to do modifications to our car, afterall it's our money but come to think of it, Yes we may be able to afford the greatest car and bling it till kingdom come, but some just cannot afford "good taste" or class.

July 18th, 2014 09:06 AM #2437modifications, even those "with bad taste" are ok.. as long as they do not diminish the safety considerations of the car... or reduce the read-ability of the license plate... or increase its pollution capabilities.. or assault our ears!

July 18th, 2014 10:52 AM #2438agree on this! although i doubt proper implementation... malamamg maging cashcow ng kotong.
imagine magkaka checkpoint ang LTO in the middle of banawe... or sa gabi ng MIAS or HIN hehe
but seriously, i think di implement ito (i hope). just imagine all the businessmen im the car mod and accessories bi affected and the political "donations" they give to their chosen tongressman and their allies.
have you seen a stock car bearing protocol plates? most, if not all have upgraded rims atleast

what if protocol plates be allowed only on official (government) vehicles?
it's common knowledge, these plates are being used more as simbolo de estado or license to commit..., than anything else..
from what i remember, the LTO granted this privilege to our "leaders". the leaders did not ask for it.
thus, it should be very easy for the LTO to rescind the privilege...
i must apologize.. it's not a baduy topic, but... my feelings on this are strong.Last edited by dr. d; July 18th, 2014 at 02:02 PM.
