Hi sir jarx!

advice ko lang sir....please only do the waiting of the lowfuel warning light when switching fuel brands....the SCV kasi tends to suck air which could also do something bad in the injection system....

you said 35k kms na yung carens mo right? and halos sabay lang kamo nag react?

Sa tingin ko kasi sir...nung around 30k to 35k kms ng carens mo nag start maglagay ang caltex ng techron D sa diesel nila...and at this time din non mo naman na acquire yung strada tama po ba?....so kaya siguro nagsabay mag react although in a different way....

it's nice to know that the caltex with techron is the main reason so far that we have found to be causing the bad scv problems, can we confirm with the other people who have claimed warranty on their SCVs??? iam now using petron.

Actually Sir, thats one of the only few reason why the SCV breaks down...

The dirty fuel is really in existence....like what happened to Bigblock....nagpakarga sya in one of the petron stations which apparently is having its main tank being refilled by the tanker at the same time he was loading the diesel....so what happened is that the slug sediments on the main tank of the station was pumped in his strada's tank...so it turned out that the SCV did failed because of the dirty fuel and a big quantity of slug sediments was found on his tank....the badside here is that he wasn't able to claim warranty because according to the casa it was his fault....then 13.5k just got down to the drain...

but the case is debatable BTW....its just that Bigblock really needs the car at that week...and his got a lot of cash to spare...

Ako I have been using Caltex ever since i got my Strada from the Casa. Wala namang naging problem. Lately I tried Total, amazingly mas ok para sa akin. Mas maganda rin ang fuel efficiency ng truck ko. It seems ako lang yata ang gumagamit nito.

Mga gents pasingit lang po...

Wala po akong Strada pero seryoso po pala ang epekto sa SVC ng unit ninyo. I keep wondering lang kung ilang karga pa ang mauubos ko bago lumabas ang problemang meron kayo sa unit ko. Scared lang din dahil hindi biro ang repair cost. About Caltex/Chevron, yan po gamit ko most of the time or say 80% na fuel na gamit sa SF ko but so far 18k++ na sa odo ko same response parin as before. Bigla akong na conscious tuloy Techron

BTW goodluck po sa lahat
