afaik, naging issue dati yan sa mga gen 2 like mine, after some time humihina na ikot ng stock fan at eventually humihinto. kapag nasa trapik ka o kaya long drive at huminto, wala ka na AC. so para panigurado, pakabit ng aux fan. yung iba nirepair, palit lang daw carbon brush

This happened to our gen 2 already, after about 5 yrs of driving it. I had to replace the motor of the aux fan. It set me back around 3k ata. Pero kung non-oem motor kalahati lang ang damage

May abang (provision) na for the aux fan in this current monty .... pag naglagay ka ng aux fan, plug and play lang, it's as simple as that ..... so what does that tell us .... tinipid ng mitsu mga customer .... mga customer na maglagay para mga cutsomer ang gumastos .... nag cost cut ang mitsu.

To add ... parang cabin (aircon) air filter yan eh ..... monty from the factory does not come with a cabin air filter .... but there is a provision for it .... it was designed to have one .... and you know the value of having a cabin air filter.

Achilles heel ng monty yang aux fan nila .... sa mga aircon repair shops, tanunging mo mga technician, dami na silang pinalitan na motor ng aux fan ng 2nd gen monty due to earlier than expected failure.

what it suggests to me...
compared to the world market that these manufacturers cater to, our local market is small time. it would not do, to order special parts for us and suffer two sets of inventories, as it would simply cause them to spend more. so they just use what they already have, in their parts bins.

i figure, mitsu thinks the car can do without an aux fan.
