Imposible ba ang SUA = NO (based on our first hand experience on a different brand. 2 different brands actually)

Impossible ba ang SUA sa Montero = NO what makes this brand special versus lets say a Toyota? In fact bakit sila ang may maraming SUA cases?

Kaya it is prudent not to dismiss this case outright without an independent party examining how mitsu tested the first reported SUAs. Or better yet, if experts like us in tsikot 😁 are given access to their firmware's source code and complete mechanical diagram. Kung walang makita, then well and good!

Hindi ba na sinasabi nang batas na a person (MMC is a legal entity) is innocent until proven guilty.

Again obvious naman problem eh, yung early model nang MS ay walang brake switch system na kung saan puwede mo i-shift from P to D or R without stepping on the brakes. Dyan may pag-asa sila makakuha hustisya.

Pero again, tignan din nila manual nila. If nakalagay dun na they should depress the brake first before shifting through gears. Lusot pa din MMC. Bakit? Eh nasa instuction kasi eh na read the manual first before driving. So bagsak nun, sasabihin nang MMC na may neglect on the part of the driver. Just like nung white MS driver sa video.

Hopefully a lawyer can enlighten us on this since limited lang alam ko sa batas.

To summarize my point here, possible SUA pero in the case of early MS eh hindi SUA yan imho. The standard safety of brake lever switch was missing and probably the cause of these accidents.

BTW i have no car brand loyalty. Just car model loyalty. hehe. I'd buy a 2nd hand Pajero BK or an MuX is I have the funds right now.

ABS-EBD only activates at high speed. The ECM aided by the speed sensor only controls the pulse of the ABS but not the right foot of the driver.
In my experience sa Montero, pag nag fail ang ABS nag la lock ang brakes even at low speed. One or two wheels will skid.

Nag upgrade ako ng brake lights ng Starex ko from single point to double dual point contacts, very straightforward yung ginawa ng installer, walang binutinting sa ECU.
The only time na hindi umiilaw yung brake lights ko is when it is busted.
eto siguro yung ginawa ng hyundai balintawak, basahin mo yung tips.

Maybe yung wire is grounded. ECU basically controls engine. Yung mga ilaw sir mechanical na yan. All of them has switch and hindi si ECU nagdedecide nyan to turn it on or off, yung driver itself. Hehe.

In all the cars I've driven that has ABS, the feature activates at all speeds for as long as it detects a locked wheel. So sudden braking on uneven roads even at low speeds will usually trigger it.

Please read your manual. Most ABS systems activate above 10 kph IIRC. The activation is noticeable because there is a light clunk coming from the engine compartment when you reach a certain speed and it is more evident on cold starts. I noticed this sound on a Mirage, a Vios and a 3. It might not be noticeable through the clatter of a diesel engine though.
