Mitsubishi Montero Sudden Acceleration Accidents [MERGED]

Hay, maibenta lang ang matagtag and underpowered suv nila.

So you mean to say sir almost bad publicity?and mga fortuner lovers and sellers yung mga usual nagcocomment ng said accidents na parang bata ang ngkwento?nung una ko din nakita 2012 fortuner nagandahan ako talaga..napaisip nga ako against dun sa 2012 montero..pero nung nakita ko specs..a big no kagad ako dun sa fortuner..HP and tranny pa lang alam mo na kung ano ang pipiliin mo..mommy ko na walang alam sa sasakyan napansin din kagad yun arankada ng strada at montero samin..konting tapak lang dumadamba kagad..hindi kagaya nun hilux namin dati na naghihintay talaga bago umarankada..all automatic yan comparison..yun matagtag naman nitrogen air pwede mahabol ng konti pero iba talaga diperensya lalo sa rear part ng sasakyan..hindi ako against sa toyota dahil owner din ako dati..it's just that medyo huli talaga sila sa upgrade ngayon..dati kasi boom ang fortuner and un pick up ng toyota..pero nun naglabas ang mitsubishi medyo nalamangan sila..pareho naman sila maganda..sa price halos prehas..pero sa engine upgrades?tranny?features?Against lang ako dun sa mga tao na puro hearsay..maniniwala na ko me multo..pero yun nakahinto na montero na me inayos sa audio parts and biglang nagrev and umandar?

maybe these drivers are old school... they try to rev the engine before they let the vehicle run and also before they turn the engine off... they always have this notion to warm up the engine by making several revs during the morning or when the car has not been use for several hours... i use to do this on older models... we used to have non CRDI 4D56 truck M/T which needs to be rev up before you let it run because it may choked along the way and engine will stop... so in this case maybe these claimants tried reving the vehicle then before the RPM falls below 1000 they shifted to D then further flooring the pedal so i am 100% sure that it will sprint right away followed by driver panic and stepping more on the pedal rather than the brake...

for safety reason always step on the brake every time you turn on the engine and always step on the brake everytime you put the shift to R or D... if you make this a habit you will be away from these sudden acceleration accidents because even if the vehicle is defective and has sudden acceleration issue it won't have a chance for it to happen...

natawa ako dito kasi guilty din ako nito way back

revving before starting or even revving during stop lights, hehehehe

in fact, dati takot pa ako mag maneho ng A/T

in fact, i still prefer/enjoy driving an M/T vehicle to an A/T vehicle that has no responsive sportronic/manual mode

but an A/T vehicle with a responsive manual system like that of the monty is, for me, the best of both worlds

panu nalang if this case happen sa isang chip tuned and sprint booster installed MS cgurado ako na magkakaroon ng sudden acceleration issue!

sir wala naman ako sinabing brand. Hahaha! Pero ang dubious kasi... Kung 1st hand experience pwede pa siguro... or hindi pa rin? Hahaha

But anyway, sana nga wag na bumili yung mga gullible na maniniwala para kumonti naman yung Monty sa road. Ang dami na kasi.

Eh kaya lang pila pa rin ang Monty. So sudden acceleration propaganda... FAIL.

natsambhan ko ba?hahaha e kasi totoo naman bakit di pa natin deretsahin..para din naman sa kanila yun kesa gumawa ng kwento,improve na lang un product nila,healthy competition di ba..maganda naman talaga kasi land cruiser jr nga tingin ko e..EPIC FAILED.dahil sa tsismis haba ng pila sa mitsubishi buti na lang me kakilala hahayss...can't wait makauwi..buti hindi ako nagmadali dun sa 11 model..ganda tranny ng 2012 model..5At..

sa dinadami ng montero sa daan wala pako nakikita na ng sudden acceleration tingin ko black propaganda lang ito,yung taga mazda na ahente ginagamit pa sakin yung blog dati na pinost about sudden acceleration kasi kinukulit ako na cx-7 daw nila kunin ko libre
ipad 2 at 60k discount pa kaso hindi ko talaga type

For those na may edad na, remember way back sa 80's may kumakalat na rumor na si mall R sa dressing room na mga girls may hidden passage with in nawawala nalang daw yun mga ibang girls tapos kinakain kaw kasi ng isang malaking snake na kampal ng anak ng mayari ng mall R? People got scared and tried avoiding that mall R and from that moment onwards mall got low turn out na during weekends and people went back to going to mall S.

We have 2 monty sa family namin although quite distrubing this issue is pero hindi naman nayayari sa amin or sa mga forumers here na 1st hand experience. We enjoy using both gls and gtv on a daily basis and thats the big factor. Its fun to drive( normal driving ), comfy to ride and its safe vehicle to have.
