IIRC basta lumalabas tong SUA issue, nag nanumber 1 ang montero eh.
    Parang good publicity. 🤔

Basta Mitsubishi Montero is no 1!!! Hindi yan madidislodge kahit sino pa man.

Sabagay sabi nga nila, bobo nga siguro ang mga bumili ng Montero at nakaka experience ng SUA.

hindi kaya related din sa inhibitor switch problem ang SUA issue? Based on my experience on the inhibitor switch problem, when i move the stick from gear to gear, minsan nawawala, blangko ang indicator. What I do, i move the stick back from drive to neutral and back to drive to get the indicator to show. Then recently, nag blank ang indicator while I am still in gear, causing the engine to rev hard, kasi nga kung blank, parang naka neutral. I jog the stick again to bring the indicator to function.

Since I had it cleaned (2nd time) and no, I have not had my indicator switch replaced yet, ok na ulit. When shifting from gear to gear, immediate ang pagpalit sa indicator, no lag, no blank.

Considering what I said na yung mga 2012 below has no shift lock safety option, di kaya napaandar nila ang monty nila while it was still in drive or neutral, pero due to faulty inhibitor, nagblank ang reading, kaya pwede mapaandar ang kotse. Pero dahil it is actually in drive, baka biglang nag contact ang connectors sa inhibitor switch, kaya ayun, biglang abante kasi nga nag start ang kotse when it was actually in drive.

There was a time my monty was parked by a company driver. When I rode in the car, ayaw umandar! Nagtaka ako bakit. Kung anu ano ginawa ko, only to realize nasa drive pala ang gear, kaya ayaw umandar. Napatay ng driver ang kotse maski naiwan sa D, natanggal pa niya ang susi. You can't do that if it has a shift lock and the stepping on the brake thing.

3 days ko na napapanood sa tv patrol tong SUA incidents. i'm starting to assume na gusto lang ng isang tagaloob (prod maybe?) na maunang mabigyan ng new model ng montero, but that's just me.

i've never driven a a/t in my 10 years of driving, nung nabasa ko ang SUA issue i had the assumption na fault ng driver. probably mga galing m/t sila. then two weeks ago i got to drive an a/t mitsu van (space gear). when driving im fully aware that it's an a/t and no need for my left leg to depress the clutch or my right arm to shift. pero nung nakahinto ako sa kalsada, bumaba ako after pulling the handbreak. pagsakay ko uli dun ko nalaman na nasa D pala ang tranny. buti di nag SUA yung van. hehehe

it was then i realized na coming from a standstill, there's this tendency to be confused. maybe the owners turned off the engine while still in D, akala nila naka neutral.

Many cars won't allow you to remove the ignition key if the shifter is anywhere other than Park.

Is this not true on the Montero Sport models?

Pag sanay Ka sa manual.. Malabong mag SUA, Pwede pa SUB or sudden unintended braking.. Pag clutch mo sigurado preno Ang matatapakan mo...

Yes. But the car won't start unless it is set to P(ark) or N(eutral).

Since sirang-sira na ang Mitsu, and Everest is Americsn, I guess it's time to move on and consider this baby.

Tutal, the Philippines is progressing na naman, and pang-3rd world ang mga ladder frames

Dapat ang car mo sportscar with lots of creature comforts, uun tipong you'll leave all these ladder suvs in the dust type of thing

Palagay ko, dapat Hyundai Tucson CRDi na lang ang the best option
