Kumusta po naman sir ang looks ng L200 FB? Hinde ba panget tingnan na maliit ang cab kesa sa FB body? Wala pa kasi dito yung FB body sa probinsya.

    Hilux FX

    - Bench seats can be split folded up. Better for space management.

    vs.

    L200 FB

    Two pieces non-split bench.

The unit depicted is made by Centro. I have also seen another L200 FB but the back is made by Metro truck. They both have the same design in the FB body, even the non split benches.

Thank you sir number001 for the pictures. Mas mahaba pala ang L200 kesa sa L3. Pero sir ask ko lang opinion nyo kung maganda ba in the flesh yung L2 kasi parang lowered cya na mataas ang likod. Compare ko lang ksi sa L3.

Of the two, the L300 is better looking to the eyes bec. of proper proportions (height and length). Whereas the L200, has a short cab height compared to its taller FB body. In terms of length, the longer cab front coupled with the shorter FB body looks a bit odd only if you really stare at it.

But if its me, I'd still pick the L200. It is a utility vehicles and not the new Lamborghini Aventador.

thanks sir number 001 for the infos/pics

    L300 for me..
we buy these kinds of vehicles for practicality..

    1. 160t is alot of money... specially for a vehicle below 1m.
    2. who doesnt love more power? im sure tim taylor does... but... para sakin ok na yung standard engine ng L300 + it will probably be easier to maintain pag naluma na
    3. more parts.. a model available since 1988.. kahit saan mabibili price
    4. if you just buy this L300 for business... tangalin na ang aircon.. save some more money... so thats 160k+ some more... dahil sa aircon savings.. baka umabot 200t+ pwede din pangbili pa ng decent used car..
    5. proportion of body (i also prefer this type of body dahil mas madali mag park dahil walang nguso.. downside naman dito.. mainit sa pwet)
    6. parang roomier ang L300

only downside i really see is safety to people na nakaupo sa front...

Removing the aircon (both front and rear) will yield minimal savings around 50-60K. Removing the back aircon alone in the L300 FB will yield savings of 20K.

The thing with L300 is that it has been in the market for so long and MMPC has complacently let it stagnate. Even if MMPC introduced the L300's overseas successor, the Delica, then that could a big leap in terms of ergonomics (floor shifter), etc...

Haven't MMPC worn out their die stamping all those L300 body panel all these years?:D 1988 to present is quite a long time. In that time, a person can be born and eventually graduate from college and the ever dependable L300 is still there available for sale brand new. Who would buy Lancers if Mitsubishi just kept the same Lancer EX (79-89) aka "box type" design forever? Well, maybe a few "fans".

imho.. its different sa L300... kasi important sa L300 owners is:
    price
    load capacity
    parts readily available
alot of them.. not really enticed by appearance dahil ginagamit lang sa business..
i think the reason why they keep making these units is that... they are dependle... at well tested napo...

    we have had 3 L300 since 1988..
    1988 L300 commuter gas
    1994 L300 FB
    1996 L300 commuter diesel

hehe.. kaya siguro medyo L300 fanboy ako..

unlike sa lancers.. ang magdrdrive or sasakay are the owners.. so important sakanila for the car to look updated/presentable
