hi mga pare, newbie... i own a 99 galant, may idea ba kyo kung san ko pde papalitan yun corner lights ko.. from stock na orange to clear lng..
puro buong headlight assembly binibigay sakin eh... tnx
sana may eb naman para makita and mag swap ng ideas regarding sa galant.

mga sir.. i have a 99 galant vr4 , baka may alam kyo kung san ko pwede papalitan yun orange na corner lamp ko. I want the clear corners sana as well as th fender lights. Ang nakikita ko lng yun buong headlight assembly eh.. tnx

Thanks bro, pero have some question, my wife informed me that observed nya daw during morning start-up medyo di agad nag start makina niya after a few seconds ok na, as far as i know pag fuel injected engine di dapat ganun ang case. any idea?

mmmm...dude it could be the batteries? are u sure they ain't old? minsan baka loose lang...it happened to me a couple of times, sometimes even while driving! it turns out maluwag lang so better check 'em terminals (pag may imudo, that's one good sign na maluwag...so higpit lang needed and better put terminal grease na rin while ur at it.)

it could also be...mmm...Matic ba Car mo? Kasi ung akin (99 Galant VR) matic, and sometimes...I tend to forget na nasa D(rive) yung stick shift! As a safety measure, you can't start your car while in this mode. nakakahiya nga...kasi one time, may dala ng extra car battery yung pa-in-law ko, yun pala nasa D(rive) mode lang ! now if ur car is a manual tranny...just forget this part. hehehe

and finally...I do experience long start-ups (this specially occurs when my car sits for 3 days without bein' started), considering I just had my battery installed. The solution maybe the TIMING BELT change. You see, when I had mine done, the long start-ups didn't occur anymore. So make sure your belts has been replaced. That really is important especially to our lovely cars. Don't mind what the sellers told you (they will tell u anything para lang makabenta)...you should have 'em check immediately, better safe than sorry. Buti nga sa akin, nag squeal na! Kaysa bigla na lang mapigtal...naku! Chances are katok ang V6 kong makina.

Pwede ring tune-up lang. Are your SPARK PLUGS good?

Anyway hope this helps. And I'm really awaiting that EB thingie everyone's proposing. Ano set tayo date? Dami ko rin questions that need answering eh.

But guys, let's do this on highways lang and definitely to roads which you are familiar with, mahirap na rin ma-aksidente. Defensive driving na lang tayo mga tol. Hehehe, nagsalita.

Thanks bro, your definitely right its only in the car batteries maluwag nga siya yong wife ko na nga lang nag check, so far its good bumiyahe na sila long drive to bicol and its true puro "eat my dust" inabot ng mga kasabay na sasakyan. I have not driven the car yet na postponed uwi ko kaya tindi na ng pang gigigil ko sa galant na yan.

For the EB, I think its better if kaw na mag initiate coz i can see that you know more than anyone else pagdating sa power ng galant and everything else, especially when it comes to defensive driving (kuno) hehehehehe..

carburated kasi sakin..
anyways, ganito ginagawa ko pag mga 1 week na di umandar.
pag start ko, nakatapak ako ng konti sa silenyador..
yung tipong tinataasan ko rpm.
pero hanggang around 1.5k rpm lang
tsaka saglit lang.
after a minute or two, bitaw ko na.
ayun, menor na.
ewan ko lang kung applicable sa efi yun.

yes, kool lang tayo esp with those idiots on 2 wheels. Dapat nga may batas against these reckless drivers who are not afraid to die na ang pentalty is to put them into active military service, and assigned to military hotspots. Aside from an honorable chance tro prove their braveness assigning them in warzones will ensure that innocent pedestrians and drivers are a little safer in the streets.

Ibang model ride ko pero some 12 years ago, galant ang company service ko from Manila to Paranaque (via SLEX) and back once a week. Also once a week from Manila to Cainta and back. Sa SLEX feel mo talaga smooth ang ride. Umalis lang ako kasi hindi tinutupad ng company mga promised incentives. Did not miss the company but did miss the galant.

thanks bro solve na problema nya but unfortunately si kumander pa rin ang nagpapakaswa sa galant ko di matuloy tuloy uwi ko Anyways san ba maganda mag purchase ng tires? quezon city area kami... Im planning to change my front tires lang sana kaso advise naman ng bayaw ko yong apat na daw, is it reasonable to change all kung ok pa naman thread ng rear wheel?

As for the beauty of our galant tested nga dami pa rin napapalingon pag nasa kalsada and dami lumalaki mata pag nag overtake sa ibang rides
