Hi,

Im a new member and new owner (not really-- 1 year na auto ko) of a second hand of a Mitsubishi Lancer GLXi 96 model, napapansin ko na may lagatak na sya sa ilalim when we have it checked in greasebee in ortigas extension, cainta need na daw palitan yung buong suspension system and they quoted us 21K for it (parts and labor included) pero 2 days gagawin, but when I searched the net ang daming negative feedback sa greasebee so we decided to go to rapide in taytay, rizal. suspension system din ang need palitan and our estimate is 27K and gagawin nila for 1 1/2 days.. kaso madami din negative feeds on rapide... So can you guys help me? kung meron po kayong ma recommend na magaling na auto car repair na hindi naman sobrang mahal.. I live in rizal so if meron po kayong alam... please prang awa nyo na... Thanks a lot....

Suspension system po kasi yan. Talagang ganyan ang pricing. About sa negative feedbacks, wala po ako'ng alam na shop w/o negative feedbacks. Tiwala po ang kailangan nyo. Let them do the job and kung hindi nyo magustuhan, dapat may assurance kayo for a refund. May agreement po kayong pinipirmahan kung kayo ay magpapaayos. Iyun lang po ang masasabi ko.

Ako naman ay may i-share sa inyo. A month ago, biglang naging palyado ang '94 GLXi ko. Palyado as 1 spark plug is not working. On and off po iyun. Hindi ko lang pinansin kasi minsanan lang anf nawawala din later on. Nang biglang naging permanente! Pinakita ko sa kaibigan ko'ng mekaniko, spark plug #3 ang suspetsa. Wala po error code!

, then biglang nag stop ang engine and cannot be started anymore. May cranking pero walang kuryente. Wow, ignition coil! Appear agad sa reader (...forgot the code). Luckily, may spare sya so we changed. It lasted for a week, then the same palyado effect ay biglang bumalik and permanent na naman. I changed all plugs (all 4 of them), pero same pa rin... #3 is not firing. May kuryente naman. Immediate ako dumaan sa reputable car repair shop. Wala po error code!! Compression test nila pero maganda pa compression ng ITLOG ko. Bakit sila mag-compression test, e, maganda naman idle, walang blow-by. Then I went back to my mechanic friend to diagnose the problem. What we found out is that chamber #3 has no combustion kasi... walang gas na lumalabas sa injector! Amputsa... buti na lang din at may spare sya and we changed the injector. We changed it because when the engine gets hot, RESISTANCE is infinite--meaning open circuit. Faulty na 'yung injector na iyun. Clean po lahat injectors ko. Iyun din ang culprit kung bakit nasira ang ignition coil. 3 plugs are working instead of 4 which made my ECU command the igniter to generate more voltage. Now, it's working fine and with a bit more torque than before. We were also wondering why injector #3 failed, in fact, bihira po nasisira ang mga injectors. Usually clogged lang sila.

So, if ever palyado ang mga ITLOG nyo, ipa-check nyo agad. May kamahalan na po kasi ignition coil at injectors ng mga ITLOG natin,e. Magandang araw po sa inyo....

is it really the injector that's defective, or is it the electrical wire leading to it?

Injector po. We tried moving the faulty one to different chambers. Always the faulty injector refused to detonate. It has infinite resistance, also.

sir.. sa Zafra (Bautista St., Makati) mo na lang pagawa.. expert sila sa underchassis at garantisado ang trabaho at may six months warranty pa.. ako personally sa kanila ko pinapagawa lahat ng out-of-warranty na sasakyan ko..
