April 19th, 2009 09:31 PM #12Sir, I got 1-3 issues when I got my brand new 3.2 Strada. At first akala ko sira ang makina, it's just the nature of diesel engines. I find the engine too noisy too.
After my first 1000km oil change, all these symptoms went away. Kailangan lang proper break in period like all diesel engines.

There you go. Walang ganung problems kay sir XTO (MS 3.2), therefore, hindi normal yung aforementioned issues (actually imposibleng normal talaga yun).

April 20th, 2009 10:19 AM #15Yes i did. the mechanic sid that they also notice one from the other but the owner did not notice. after fixing that unit, ako din daw. pinababalik sa akin dahil no time na when i went there.
Ye i will ask for replacement.
ONE MORE PROBLEM, when i shift from Park to drive of Rear, the entire vehicle shakes na parang gustong tumakbo na. Not smooth at all. The technician says normal naman sa ibang unit na try niya. I dont know if true.
I hope so man. this is my first diesel car. i am not comfortable with it.
Who did some exchange before?
Thanks to all the replies.
i will keep you updated on the problem.

I don't have a MS but one thing i noticed was that the service in the CASA is friggin expensive. My friend spent over 7K for their 1K service then when i saw the comparison of the service prices for the MS, Fort and Everest on C! Magazine, it costs much more then the Toyota and Ford (the Toyota and Ford service prices for their estimated lifespan hit around php 100K++ while the Mitsu went well over php 200K).

April 21st, 2009 11:32 PM #19The quality control issues of Mitsu in general are long gone. That fact is now recognized worldwide, although people will still tend to link any lemons back to the previous issues as generalization, nakatatak na kasi sa isip yun e.
Kahit naman siguro Fortuner pa, posible pa rin na lemon sya. Depends on luck na rin ng buyer yan. So good luck on whatever you choose to purchase.

i think these issues appeared with the Strada as well, it might be good to compare notes with our Strada brothers (TSCP) out there
