Talagang target market nito ay indonesia wherein grabe ang sales ng small AUV doon.
Puro petrol din mga cars sa indonesia. Hindi sikat diesel
Sikat ang avanza, innova at 1st place
daihatsu is a surprise at 2nd place
suzuki 4th with ignis/ertiga, APV.
mitsu at 3rd.
If Mitsu will price it right, it will sell.
Of course over here, it will only sell if it's diesel

August 11th, 2017 12:42 AM #62Released at GIIAS earlier today. Official name is Xpander lol. Flat folding second and third row makes this much more versatile than Mobilio/BRV twins. Prices are 722K to 937K converted. If they retain these prices, this will eat a lot into the BR-V and Ecosport sales and possibly lower end Innova as well.
The Xpander is 4,475 mm long and 1,750 mm wide, which is 22 mm longer and 15 mm wider than the Honda BR-V. The Mitsu’s 2,775 mm wheelbase is a 113 mm longer than the Honda’s. If the ground clearance looks generous, it is – at 205 mm, it’s highest in class and 4 mm higher than the BR-V.

August 11th, 2017 01:53 AM #67front is from the future! 4spd slushbox is from the past
what's up w/ that? to lower development costs? to cripple it somewhat to prevent it from cannibalizing their other vehicles?

August 11th, 2017 01:56 AM #68No diesel variant launched in Indonesia. Doubtful also since Mitsu doesn't have a small displacement diesel in Asean region yet.
An option is the 1.8L 4N13 (150/116ps low power, 300Nm) mivec diesel used in European Lancer and ASX but again, no production of that engine in Asean afaik.
I wouldn't mind having the 1.5L petrol if it gave decent fuel consumption close to the 8-9km/l mark. Only possible if they tuned the 4AT to perfection.
