done reading this thread from page 1, dami ko na din natutunan tungkol sa montero, hehhe. . .
next ay ung 2013, naman will be getting the monty gls-v AT next month. . .

Mga sir , yung silver monty ko tinamaan ng bato sa road kanina and ang may nachip off na plastic sa front bumper

, anybody here knows where i can have this fix ? Yung kuhang kuha pa rin yung paint ng pagkasilver ng monty

when installing k&n drop-in filter, do you also need to install the dts chip for maximum efficiency?

not necessarily. but if you want to install a tuning chip, you'll get additional hp and torque. but why dts chip? you have the more popular ones used by montero owners like racechip, spider tuning and unichip.

^ Ah so no need naman pala to install tuning chips once one decides to use k&n drop-ins na. i read kasi somewhere parang it's a necessity to do that when you upgrade to an aftermarket air filter. tnx bos!

K&N alone gives you that uhmmp to your engine, its more of a "want" than a "necessity"... ;)

^ yep. i have a k & n drop-in filter on my fd naman. it's just i'm a newbie to diesel engines that's why i'm not sure about a lot of things when it comes to our monty's odds and ends
