tsikoteers, for everyone's information na din. Seaoil is now back to Euro3 from Euro5. Pero actually sabi nila is Euro3 talaga ang Biodiesel nila but there are times na 4 and 5 din dependent on the market price fluctuations. Pero right now, hindi nila kaya to offer Euro5 dahil sa taas ng price ngayon...Kaya ako back to Unioil which is Euro4 ever since, naka post nga ngayon sa pumps nila 50ppm...

The statement about what diesel to use came from the WARRANTY guy not the SA at diamond motors quezon ave.
Pag under warranty kasi ang unit the warranty guy (thats what they call him) is the one who inspects the problem and reports to the main plant of MMPC.
So basically ang statement niya (coming from the main plant of MMPC) is that i should not use V power and petron TD, he said use PETRON DMAX and only from one station if possible.
Update on my MS. Roadtest with CASA this morning - NO MORE JERKING, i asked them what they did, they said;
1.) drained and cleaned my fuel tank then filled with petron dmax
2.) cleaned fuel filter, fuel lines
3.) replaced SCV ( 3rd time na!)
4.) SIQL - something to do with ecu, computer
They will release MS tomorrow, so i am crossing my fingers ok na lahat, and from now on will use petron dmax (will keep receipts) so that if it jerks again i will have proof.

March 28th, 2012 07:12 PM #1097about jerking problem.... kanina nagpunta ko sa freeway motor baliuag.... then pinaaus ko ung ms ko after that na check naman nung warranty malinis ung diesel (REGULAR DIESEL) but nung na check nila ung parang malapit sa egr ata un may bula daw sila na tingangal ito daw nagcacause ng black smoke and jerking.. then when i tried na hinataw ko ng hitanaw and tiningnan ko kung nagblblback smoke pa sa likod wala na.... and try at low rpm nawala ung jerking nya.. pero observahan k padin siya this following days. and sabi nung warranty dun wag daw vpower diesel and turbo diesel saka biodiesel ang ikarga kasi marami nag nagcocomplain sakanila ng MS about sa diesel na kinakarga they dont recomend ung mga diesel nayun..... regular lang daw dapat... may tinuro siya sakin kanina na strada nagpagawa malaki daw nasira sa makina... dahil vpower kinarga aun nakatenga dun ginagawa

March 29th, 2012 12:05 AM #1099Sirs, do you really notice an improvement in terms of fuel economy while using unioil biodiesel 50ppm compared to Big 3 ordinary diesel? Upon test, mas mataas ang economy ko while using TechronD ng 1km/L compared to unioil diesel 50ppm.
I tried this several times (fill to brim, use fuel until redlight lits, fill to brim). I am a unioil diesel user (wala ng iba) since august 2009until july 2011 and within this time frame, twice ako nagkaroon ng EGR error. I also fill up at my suking gas station here in Manila. Upon swithching to TechronD, dun ko agad nalaman na mas matipid siya compared to unioil. I'll be happy to read your opinions on this kasi from my experience, medyo iba. BTW, unioil diesel 50ppm started last march 2011, so I used and tested it for 4months.
Im also sure na calibrated yung pumps ng suking unioil gas station and fuel is clean and in good condition kasi i know the dealer (if you know what i mean).
Not sure though sa caltex. But remember, walang gas station ang gusto magbigay ng more than 1 liter for its price. Laging mas mababa ng 1000ml ang nilalabas ng fuel pump. (max error is 5ml per 1L. If sumobra, under grounds ng DOE yan. In other words, kapag bumili ka ng 1 Liter of fuel, dapat marereceive mo is 995ml and above. Kapag kumulang, lagot sa DOE ang station kapag nagkaroon ng rounds.)

Ang gulo din ng mga casa. Sa Mitsu Marilao, ang sabi sa akin hanggat maari Trubo XP or V-power ikarga ko. yung extra gastos kodaw sa quality diesel ay mako compensate naman sa savings sa maintenance ng engine. Ang engine ng mga MS ay from Thailand, and similarly also sold in Thailand, and if I am not mistaken diesel in Thailand are now Euro-4 and above compliant. And even if you google it, CRDI engines are modern engines design for new generation of diesel fuels. Confusing talaga, to me I will rely on experience, my monty runs well on V-power but terrible on Turbo Max.
