I agree. I just hope maglabas ang mitsubishi motors ng official statement regarding this issue para for all those who are fearful, mas madali sila maka decide what to do with their montero...kasi kung base lang natin sa information sa blog hindi siya malinaw, too many factors to consider. If my problem talaga montero i hope sabihin agad ng mitsubishi motors and give their solution and kung wala naman talagang defect they should also speak out.
one question lang, my car mat has holes that attach to the hooks sa flooring, merun din ba ito sa 2009 and 2010 models?

If you have read the Montero Sudden Acceleration blog, then the official Mitsubishi Philippines report will tell you that the Montero Sport was found to be have no defect, plain and simple. Unless otherwise you defeat its technical purpose and be dumbfounded by speculative statements being posted here and there.

hello guys! update lang ako sa mods ng GTV ko. i just had an OEM tuning chip installed few hours ago together with hurricane air filter. i felt the difference when i drove my unit back home. less pressing on the accelerator pedal specially from stop to 30kph and hindi mo mapapansin and acceleration from 60kph to 100kph kasi para hindi ko na pushed more ang pedal. i got the tuning chip for only 20k. wala nga lang brand but its from germany. it has 8 settings and it looks like a racechip pero silver nga lang ang color ng casing and it is plug and play. i am happy with the result and i will post the picture mamaya. next upgrade will be iron man coil spring and shock absorbers. and also install a device for the accelerator pedal for faster pedal response.

Picture! hehe Howd you know its an OEM Chip sir if it has no brand? My dad got a DTS chip for his monty. I can testify the instant power brought by this chip. But I am still undecided whether to get the DTS or the RACECHIP PRO for my gls-v.

my modest mods for my monty when i went to Banawe was:
K & N filter P4,500
Recharger Kit P900
Rear view cam P2,000
(needs to be drilled in between sensors, still waiting for the winterpine guy to come to my province to install)

Sir try ninyo lahat ng settings, para malaman ninyo kung alin ang bagay sa driving style ninyo. Or better talaga dyno tuned para accurate. Congratz on your new set up, i am sure kulang na din yung 200kph na instrumentation ninyo. Safe driving and enjoy your monty

mga sirs, talaga ba matagal ma approve sa monterosport clup ph? 2 months na ako pending, sanay kasi ako ibang clubs na within 3 days approve na. may chance pa ba ako ma approve or after 2 months malabo na nila approve request? thanks.
