Sir, how was it connecting the reverse cams and ampli to the HU? Was it easy without any issues? Did you have to buy RCA converters to complete the connection or was it a simple direct connect to the out terminals of the HU? Reason I asked is because I heard from one car accessory shop that they could not find the out terminals for the rear cam and audio setup.

    Daghang salamat!
sir sa TSIKOT.COM shop ko nagpa taod sa reverse cam ug amplifiers. there is a thread here that sells an audio set up maybe you can ask them how they installed it in my unit or contact (jedi/tsikotshop) the numbers in that thread. I think there is already a terminal sa HU that receives the reverse camera and for the amplifiers they added additional cables from the HU to the ampli ( that might be the rca cable) and attach also the ampli to the battery.

    Hi Alcaphone,

What brand and model of speakers, subs and amp did you install on your GTV? Does your light dim when listing to loud music?

Thank you sir sa input mo, I learned a lot. Smooth acceleration is very important sa diesel engines as what i learned since I got my first diesel vehicle back 1982. Pag binirit mo talaga ang diesel maraming unburnt fuel.
Swabe dapat talaga ang pag accelerate specially when you are starting from a full stop. And pinaka importante ay you save fuel.

The first part of the video looks like steam.
While the bluish smoke at the 8 seconds remaining is most likely unburned diesel.

It is maybe due to the manner of how the accelerator pedal is pressed then released.

If you press that pedal wide open, the engine revs hard.
Once you immediately remove your foot from the accelerator pedal, the throttle position sensor will immediately register zero angle.
By detecting that kind of immediate switch of driver's input, CRDI Safety system might think that you are having an emergency. Or if you are already running, the system might think that you are about to step on the brake very soon so it may immediately scramble the timing, may have misfiring (intentionally or not) sequence, or may initiate other unusual actions to assist engine braking but causing unburned diesel in the process.

Whereas if you are releasing the accelerator pedal gradually, you seems to be driving like a pro (not referring to many pinoy professional jeepney/ bus driver, hehehe), having a normal deceleration or about to stop soon. The CRDI system can also have time to initiate the correct deceleration sequence.

What I am saying is, try to avoid such actions (revving the engine hard then immediately releasing the foot from the pedal) and observe again. If bluish smoke still exist and continuously, then there is really a problem.

CRDI doesn't have the same capability that the mechanical injection system has when it comes to engine deceleration.
The mechanical injection system can accurately reduce the pressure of the injected fuel in a gradual manner and directly proportional to the decrease of engines rpm even if the foot is immediately removed from the accelerator pedal.

Too much CRDI fuel restriction control during deceleration or too much amount of diesel recirculated back to the suction side of the fuel pump during deceleration, the engine will become prone to stalling.

Mga sirs, about sa mausok na MS. well i have a GLS, and im here in baguio. every morning that i start it, mausok talaga lalo na dito malamig. pero sa baba di masyado, pero may slight blue smoke pa rin, so there is a difference there. to describe ung mausok, parang nag siga ka ng small fire, tapos medyo foggy ang buong garahe (pero open space naman). makahiya man, pero mas mausok pa sa toyota hilux 1997 model ng tito ko (slightly alagang casa pa rin after all this years).
Secondly, for the past few months i've been using Shell V-power diesel, same pa rin sya. then last few weeks i shifted sa normal diesel nila, and there is a difference in the amount of USOK, mas konti, siguro sa additives kasi. pero when sometimes caltex, mausok, sa petron maganda. pero all the same may usok pa rin. lalo na on a cold place. pero when running naman na, ok na, hardly any visible na usok.
i dont worry much, kc talagang ganun ata mga 4d56, like sa mga L300 FB namin, even if bagong labas sa kasa. well, still a jurassic engine, no doubt.
by the way the model of my GLS is june 2010 only, but more than 20k mileage. averagely batak.
to all new owners, congrats, see you on the road. stay safe.

so far, the issues are my navi is not working and the front speakers. On my way to the casa to check on it.

sir pa pm naman kung magkano ang dls seps, jbl sub with box and the amp inabot lahat...

4 channel po ba ang amp at yung 2 channels is for your front seps then yung yung next 2 channels if for bridging the sub? then yung 2nd row speakers is diretly connected sa HU? so lumalabas e front staging ang output mo?

No more noticable smoke on idle although not left on idle for 20mins with climate control on full. Put a 1/2 tank Shell ultra on monday. Not sure if it's the fuel or just the weather conditions.

Had one MID crash once and am pretty sure it was because it was so hot (maybe 45C-50C) inside the cabin. I fiddled with the steering remote (couldn't remember pogey-uy 's reset sequence) until I got it to reboot.
