mine is a gls-v: 4d56 model - KG4WGRPSL euro 2 compliant. your's is gt-v, i assume they are the same. tranny is different.
yes the 2.5 4d56 hi power DiD vgt was used in other country before Ph as you mentioned but the ones i saw in the net are all euro 4. their engine code is different. so i assume it is not 100% the same.
maybe there are the modification : parts/programming to downgrade it to euro 2.
those are the things that are buzzing in my head...

i see, anyway, try listening to it later when you start your car. it's just a short chirp once you turn the key, simultaneously as the engine starts.

My apologies Sir Gundam. I got confused when you said 2010 DENR sticker.

So it's your GLS-V has blue smoke then; nobody else. I would take it straight back to the dealership (casa) if I was you. Where did you buy it? Sounds like a faulty erg/wastegate, seeing as it a brand new vehicle.

But do not put your problem in the same catorgory as those with normal black or white smoke. Blue smoke indicates a more serious problem.

As I said in my previous post, the trial I done today after 5 mins idle with moderate aircon yielded no smoke. Good luck at the CASA, and let us know the outcome.

As regards the downgrading here, I would say it is programned different (ecu) because the Euro diesel ULSD has virtually no sulphur per million (less than 10ppm) but extra additives as replacement because the sulphur enables lubricancy (indirectly). My guess is the sulphur here is anywhere between 350 ppm and 2000 ppm.

The extra proccessing of clean diesel requires a fairly high initial investment by refineries, but in long term would add only one or two percentage points to the price. Oil companies are not inclined to do this unless forced by legislators.

valet mode is when the alarm led is not blinking and it's ON all the time. that means the alarm is disabled but you can still use the keyless entry.

this happen to me thrice already, when turning the key to start the car, nothing happens, i'll just hear chirping beep. so, i thought transmission is in Reverse or Drive, but it's not. when i tried turning the key again, engine starts. any idea why?

Did this happen on cold starts (engine is cold) or just randomly during the day?
