mga sir..natawa ako dito. bakit ba kayo natatakot regarding the rubber sa fender flares.

sometimes i park my car outside in the blazing heat, wala naman problem sa fender flares ko or the rubber component of it. sa akin lang mga sirs, lets read the thread, learn from others, but when you read something, dont right away think its going to happen to your car as well. if you keep thinking it will happen, it will happen... law of attraction.

Now when something does go wrong with your car, explain it well and find a solution and post the solution.

another topic i read, is the actuators, may nag react na agad, you have 3 years warranty, if the actuators break, have it replaced ( i know its a hassle to keep going back and forth for a piece of a car worth less than P1K).

for me, after i had my engine washed, afterwards, my automatic lock wont work with the alarm and when i switch off my car or on. I told myself, its time to bring it to casa when i have time. Lo and behold, after a few days ( i guess after it dried out), my automatic lock worked again.

yes tama si av8or5.. it doesn't mean na ang nangyari samin eh mangyayari rin sa inyo.. hehehe.. swertihan lang yan.. btw sa other side nang pick up ko eh hindi lumalabas yung problem kahit gaano kainit ang paligid..

pag mag full tank ako.. 720+km ang naka reg sa odo bago lumabas yung refill fuel sign, uhm, so 75L ang full tank nang strada diba?. but may reserve na 11L.. uhm, tama ba na mag 720/64 ako para ma compute ang fc?. tnx

regarding computation sir, pwede rin ganun. for me, i fill it up na sagad, then reset ulit, then lets say nag travel ako na medyo okay ang distance, fill it up again till sagad, then get ko travel distance over how many liters to refill to the brim.

regarding aftermarket fender flares, wala talaga dapat drilling of any mga sirs. i read your mishap nga, and stupid talaga yung installer and sa casa pa, but then again, alam naman natin ang casa crew are not perfect and most of the time, its also outsourced yung installer and the accessories business.

just to add, the rubbers that come with aftermarket fenders, it also has different textures and sizes, so that is also something to think about when having it installed.

for example, me and kimospeed got our fenders at the same store. we both chose body colored. the rubber that was used for mine was black, for kimospeed its gray, the rubber on mine was thin and flexible, kimo was a bit bigger and harder, my flares was bought 2007, his 2010. point is, the fenders might be the same, but the rubber is different.

another solution mga sirs, is loosen the bolts the hold your flares, then one by one, push in the flares towards the body and see if you like how the rubber holds in place, then tighten, i also found this out when i was trying to fix my angel eyes.

sa rubber quality talaga cguro sir. kasi dati nung sakin grey ang color nang rubber and mas worst ang problem. compare now na black na ang rubber.. hehehe

Ayos yung FC nyo ah. Pumapatak na 11.25km/L FC nyo. Sa akin 540+km saka umiilaw yung refill. Lakas pala mag consume nung strada ko and to think GLX lang yung unit ko.

*martian_..sa less traffic cguro sir.. usually im using diversion road kasi from house to work, mas malayo pero minimal ang traffic.. and i think nakatulong yung right shift timing ko.. yung tipung hindi underpowered and engine like * 2000rpm.. hehe, dati kasi nasa 600-650 lang ako..

nag tataka lang talaga and naguguluhan dito.. ano ba talaga ang hp nang 2.5 4d56 tdi common rail? 136hp or 140hp? and totoo raw ba na mababawsan ang hp kung naka on ang car stereo, lights and fan? and ilang hp naman po ang mababawas kung naka on ang a/c? ganun ba tlaga ka drastic ang effect? coz sa room ko 1.5hp ang ac, hindi naman cgro morethan 1.5hp ang a/c ng strada considering the size of it, di po ba?.. soo 136/140-a/c hp.. hope someone could enlighten me ^^
