How come may naka lagay na cruise sa may bandang tachometer? tabi ng turning left light? wala namang cruise control ang montero db?

Congratulation on your new ride.
As for the HU, I have done a research and found a steering remote control interface made by Skott. However when we remove the JVC HU, we found out that the HU comes with a separate module that are connected to the steering remote and info display. We tried to connect the Skott interfaced I bought but it didn't work. Need more research I guess.

Nevertheless we proceed to installed the Pioneer DEH-7250SD HU. So in the meantime, the steering remote doesn't work and the HU likewise is not connected to the information display. The Pioneer HU is supplied with a remote though which will be very helpful if you sit at the back.

I also replaced the 4 speakers located in the doors. You should see the supplied speakers which are really puny (made of cone paper with very small magnet). I'm sure if you just replaced the speakers, the overall sound will already improved by 50%.

After I replaced my HU and 4 speakers and added a hideaway slim type active subwoofer which was placed under the front seat. Of course the sound quality improved very much.

Sir FlyingTOOlow goodevening po. Ask ko lang sir, anong brand ng slim subwoofer po ang nilagay niyo sa montero mo?
Pwede din ba sir to interface the slimsub to the stock JVC KDBT22 unit?

Has anyone experienced nasira kaagad yung upper ball joint? 2010 Model na 2.5 GLS. Pina check ko sa mga mekaniko dito sa office kasi may naririnig kaming tunog kaming from underneath, after thorough inspection they found that the upper balljoint is already busted.

Sa tingin ko parang maaga pa para masira yung part na yun, The car only travels from Bacoor, Cavite to Paranaque (V.V) everyday.
Seldom used in long drives or out of town trips.

Montero has double wishbone front suspension and this kind of suspension is prone to ball joint break down. These are not durable as Mcperson strut suspension used in most Japanesse cars and rally cars. Pero mas maganda ride ng double wishbone. Alalay lang sa lubak, para mag tagal. Fitting greasing every 15kms is important.

Because the models with cruise use the same cluster. Eliminates the need to produce different instruments for different models, thats pretty much standard on todays cars. Even the rear foglamp icon is there on models not equipped. On models with cruise, the icon illuminates when you activate cruise control.
