sir kha? newbie here i was planning to buy kasi montero 4x2 a/t 2010 white actually nag pareserve na ako pero pinahold ko muna kasi. nakita ko ung thread dito. kelan kaya possible lumabas 2011? madami ba pag babago sa interior ng 4x2? naka autoclimate na din b like GLS SE? or manual pa din? VGT na ba talaga un? may kakilala ksi ako sa planta sa rizal sabi nga nila wala pa daw doon. mukha ata matatagalan pa e. ayaw nila mag bigay any info sa pag labas ng 2011 kasi inuubos pa talaga 2010.

so ndi pa talaga ito lalabas ng feb 1st week un kasi sabi SA ko e.. pero tingin ko din malabo pa dahil wla pa brochures and launching.. ndi nio na pansin po ung climate control? sayang naman kung hindi nila i uupgrade un.

Sana naka VGT at 5 Speed A/T ang GLS 4X2 ng Montero Sport.

lahat po ng 2011 na montero ay vgt na 4x2 and 4x4 at lahat po ay 2.5l na pati yung 4x4...wala na pong SE 3.2l na ilalabas ang mmpc...ang my paddle shifter lang is yung 4x4 gls V at nav system and some other amenities...engine internals po ay binago na rin for improved engine response and performance..HTH po

sir bale yung nav system sa 2.5l 4x4 is standard accessories...bale kung mag karon man sa 4x2 models ay dealer option na po iyon...regarding naman po sa signal light ay hindi po na idiscuss samen dun sa training or hindi lang po ako nakinig ng maayos..hehe

There is an exterior diferrence between the 2010 and 2011 Monty. The 2010 monty still has the "toothy" grille while the 2011 monty now has the Honeycomb grille. Mapapansin mo agad yun. Now if you spot a monty with the Honeycomb grille but the license plate starts at Z, N, P*I, P*O, P*Q, and PI, then it is not the 2011 monty yet

Without wanting to get into an arguement here, In 2009 when the new (current model) came out there was a thread called New Montero ....
Then last year there was a new thread started with a link back to the older one. It was named 2010 Montero sport and the older one was closed.

Now we have the 2011MY year in the works it is fitting that we continue the same system. With all due respect to the Hyundai forum and the way you have did it there, does not mean we have to follow suit or change the current way.

These threads are mainly for people thinking of buying a Montero and not problems etc.

On this count the older outgoing model thread will be of little benifit to prospective buyers; but I do think a link back from the new one is in order as it may help with modifications etc.

As a compromise, I suggest we leave my thead and close the 2010 one. Then ask the moderator to rename my thread '2011 Mitsubishi Montero Sport [continued]' and put a link on my opening post back to this thread.

Starex, for the record, I made my thread before I read your comment yesterday. I am a one finger typest and I took a bit of time trying to put some light hearted substance in it.
